Every year, I create a Scavenger Hunt for the new catalog for my customers. It's a good way to get them really looking through the catalog so they notice things they might have otherwise missed. As a thanks for playing along, I send them a $3 coupon to use with me on a future order. One of the questions I always ask is which new In Color is their favorite. This year, I also asked which of the color theory cards on page 133 of the catalog they liked best. I then try to use their answers to create a card for them which I send along with their coupon.
One of my customers indicated that Peach Pie was her favorite new In Color and said she liked the complementary card on page 133 best. So, I CASE'd the card using the Translucent Florals Set and coordinating dies and some new accessories. If you don't know, CASE stands for (Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit or Enhance). The catalog is great for inspiration, just pick a project you like because of the layout, colors, technique, etc. and CASE it!
