I had three friends join me to watch the Making A Difference for Ukraine demonstration on Friday, April 1. We enjoyed seeing the cards the Stampin' Up!™ employees presented and listening to them banter as they worked. Of course, we did some laughing and talking too! You can watch a recording of the presentation yourself if you sign on to Facebook and go to Sara's page at Sara Douglass, Stampin' Up! CEO. Just scroll down a bit in the posts and you'll see the recording.
I donated the fee I would have normally charged for the cards my ladies made. Each of the ladies gave me a little extra to donate as well and I rounded up so that we donated $75. Overall, Stampin' Up!™ has raised around $15,000 for the people in Ukraine through Lifting Hands International (https://www.liftinghandsinternational.org/) the last time I checked.
Everyone who attended got to make one of each of these cards. All the cards had a blue and yellow color scheme in support of Ukraine.
I got the idea for this first, super easy card from one I saw online somewhere.

I participated in OnTour 2022, an online training event, with Stampin' Up!™ on Saturday afternoon. Here's a picture of the cards that were created by Stampin' Up!™ employees during the official online presentation.

While my customers were here, I was able to recreate my own version of two of the cards and let them make them as well if they wished. I had to substitute stamp sets and accessories sometimes since I actually don't own everything! Here are the two cards I created after being inspired by some of the cards shown in the presentation.
I didn't have the stamp sets that Sara used on her card, so I substituted the Garden Wishes Set and changed the layout just a bit.
Uses Garden Wishes Cling Stamp Set plus Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad, Pacific Point Cardstock, Pacific Point Classic Stampin' Pad, Basic White Cardstock, Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Clear Block B, Clear Block H, Take Your Pick, Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip, Paper Trimmer, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Sunflowers Dies, Stampin' Seal, and Adhesive Sheets.

I kind of mixed up a couple of the cards that Stampin' Up!™ showed while making this next card which actually doesn't use any stamping, but I like the way it turned out! I did have to use a different designer paper as well and it isn't quite blue and yellow, but it was as close as I could get with the designer papers I have.

Uses Basic White Cardstock, Pale Papaya Cardstock, You're A Peach 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, Basic White Thick Cardstock, Vellum 8-1/2" x 11" Cardstock, Take Your Pick, Paper Trimmer, Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine or Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Playful Alphabet Dies, Stampin' Seal, and Foam Adhesive Sheets.

Finally, I recreated the rest of the cards shown in the demonstration just for fun!
I mixed up a couple of the cards again while making this no stamping card, but I loved the way it worked out too. I didn't have any good solid flower dies to use, so I substituted the Stitched Stars Dies instead. I couldn't decide which color cardstock to use for the sentiment die cut and then my customer, Robin, suggested gold foil! Brilliant idea, Robin! It's hard to tell in the scan, but the "you matter" is a nice, shiny gold!

Uses Daffodil Delight Cardstock, Pacific Point Cardstock, Basic White Cardstock, Brushed Metallic 12" x 12" Cardstock, Take Your Pick, Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip, Paper Trimmer, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Stitched Stars Dies, Here For You Dies, Stampin' Seal, Adhesive Sheets, and Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

Another no stamping card that I created as an Easter card. I used a few different items than in the card they created, but the inspiration was there!
Uses Daffodil Delight Cardstock, Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad, Granny Apple Green Cardstock, Pacific Point Classic Stampin' Pad, Basic White Cardstock, Blending Brushes, Take Your Pick, Paper Trimmer, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder, Floral Heart Dies, Word Wishes Dies, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Seal, and Adhesive Sheets.

I had to substitute different designer paper for this card and I used a different stamp set for the sentiment as well. I'm sending this card out to the ladies who attended the event to thank them for coming and donating.
