Kits Collection - 2 New Kits Added

With the Kits Collection by Stampin' Up!™, you can go online and choose from a variety of affordably priced, versatile kits for multiple occasions.  Each kit will provide step-by-step instructions and is all-inclusive, pre-cut, and ready to use.  Kits are great for those who have time and/or space limitations, don’t want to collect crafting supplies, or don't think they are creative.  They are designed with new crafters in mind to give them a fun, easy experience, but anyone can enjoy the kits.  Kits are a one-time order, not a subscription! 

Stampin' Up!™ just added TWO NEW kits called the Maritime Moments Kit and the Welcoming Garden Kit. 

There are only a couple of Kits left on the Last Chance list at great sale prices! 

Kits are perfect for anyone who wants to host a stamping party with their friends.  Everyone can choose the kit they want to assemble, have it delivered before the party so they can bring the kit with them to the event, and can have a great time assembling the projects they want and need while visiting with friends.  Everyone will be able to see other kits as they are assembled by others as well.  The Host will still receive credit for everyone's purchases when they use the assigned Host Code when placing their order.  The Host can then use the Stampin' Rewards earned to purchase additional craft supplies for themself.  If you are interested in being a Host for a Kit Party, contact me at [email protected] and we'll work out all the details.

Kits are sold online (not through a catalog) and are only available while supplies last, so don't wait to order one you love!  If a kit is no longer available, it won't show up in the online store.  New kits will be added regularly though, so be sure to check back often!  If you really don't want to place an online order, I can order a kit for you, but keep in mind that it could sell out before I can get the order placed.  You will have to go online no matter what to see what kits are available!

Day To Celebrate Rainbow Celebration

Our new son-in-law celebrates his birthday this week.  I used one of the cards from the Rainbow Celebration Kit and added some extra to it with the Day To Celebrate Set to make his birthday card.

Uses Day To Celebrate Photopolymer Stamp Set plus Paper Snips Scissors, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Clear Block B, Grid Paper, Paper Trimmer, Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin' Pad, Summer Splash Classic Stampin' Pad, Basic White Cardstock, and Rainbow Celebration Kit.

Simply stamp the sentiment from the Day To Celebrate Set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the right side of one of the cloud base punch outs from the kit.  Then, stamp the confetti image from the Day To Celebrate Set in Summer Splash Ink all over the cloud base.  Stamp the megaphone image from the Day To Celebrate Set in Summer Splash Ink on some Basic White Cardstock.  Cut out the megaphone image by hand using Paper Snips Scissors.  Then, use the dimensionals included in the kit to assemble everything on a card from the kit!

I did play with the orientation of the card while making the berry cards.  I also have a tip for you.  If you want to mail the berry card, then don't completely attach the strawberry honeycomb to the front of the card.  Only attach half of it and leave the protective backing in place on the other side.  Add a note for the person you are sending it to telling them to remove the protective backing and adhere the other side of the honeycomb piece to get the full effect.

Let's Party Treat Packaging Kit Boxes

My husband and I recently returned from a wonderful vacation in Australia!  We got to see Sydney and the Blue Mountains, Cairns including the Great Barrier Reef and rainforest, and Melbourne along with Phillip Island and the Great Ocean Road.  We saw some magnificent views and wildlife including Little Penguins, wallabies, echidnas, a bandicoot, koalas, reef fish and coral, and lots of birds.  It was a terrific trip!

I like to give my Club Members an extra treat each month along with their Club Orders, so I made sure to buy some different candies while sightseeing.  Once home, I packaged the candy up using the pillow boxes made from the Let's Party Treat Packaging Kit and some extra little boxes I made and decorated with the set from the kit.  I put these in their bags with their orders.

Thanks A Bunch Starry Sky Trees

I have seen several cards where the carrot images in the Thanks A Bunch Set were used to make grass and trees.  I wanted to give this a try, so I used the idea on the card I made for our younger son's birthday.  I also used a scrap of the Enjoy The Journey Designer Paper I had leftover after designing one of the cards for my February Club Class.
