Welcome to the RemARKably Created Blog Tour for September. We are focusing on Halloween this month.
I love using the Paisley Framelits stamped with a pumpkin face from the Spooky Fun Set to create ghosts.
Uses Spooky Fun Photopolymer Set plus Crushed Curry Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Rich Razzleberry Card Stock, Crushed Curry Classic Stampin' Pad, Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper, Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine, Basic Black Archival Stampin' Pad, SNAIL Adhesive, Tear & Tape Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Clear-Mount Block A, Clear-Mount Block C, Clear-Mount Block G, Classic Label Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Standard Cutting Pads, Magnetic Platform, and Paisley Framelits.
I wanted to make the house on this next card multicolored, so I used the Sponge Brayers to roll color directly onto the house shape stamp in the Sweet Home Set. I then stamped the house and cut it out by hand.
Uses Sweet Home Photopolymer Set plus Basic Black Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Old Olive Card Stock, Pumpkin Pie Card Stock, Rich Razzleberry Card Stock, Pumpkin Pie Classic Stampin' Pad, Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin' Pad, Tangerine Tango Classic Stampin' Pad, Basic Black Archival Stampin' Pad, Sponge Brayers, SNAIL Adhesive, Fine-Tip Glue Pen, Stampin' Dimensionals, Clear-Mount Block A, Clear-Mount Block B, Clear-Mount Block D, Clear-Mount Block E, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Fringe Scissors, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Precision Base Plate, Magnetic Platform, Die Brush, Home Sweet Home Thinlits, and Halloween Scenes Edgelits.
I found that the easiest way to create the tiny bats was to cut them out using the bat die in the Home Sweet Home Thinlits first. Then, I inked up the bat stamp from the Sweet Home Set and left it on the table in front of me with the stamp up. I then carefully placed the cut out bat on top of the stamp and gave it some pressure with my fingers to transfer the ink from the stamp to the cut out piece.
My final card is a fun Double-Z Fold card. If you click on the You Tube Videos link in the right column it will take you directly to the Stampin' Up! You Tube Channel. Type "double z fold card" into the search bar and click on the magnifying glass and you'll see lots of videos with directions on how to make these fun fold cards. For my version, I created a fun Halloween scene using the Cookie Cutter Halloween Set and Sweet Home Sweet.
Here is what the card looks like closed:
