I was reminded recently of the Drapery Fold by Anna Helman, another Demonstrator who posted some cards she made using this fun fold on the Facebook site for Demonstrators. This fold is a beautiful way to show off our gorgeous designer papers. I gave my Club Members a sneak peek of a couple of products from the upcoming Mini Catalog when we made this card using the Sweet Strawberry Bundle and Drapery Fold technique in July Club Class.
Uses Sweet Strawberry Photopolymer Stamp Set plus Real Red Cardstock, Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad, Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad, Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad, Calypso Coral Cardstock, Calypso Coral Classic Stampin' Pad, Pear Pizzazz Cardstock, Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin' Pad, Basic White Cardstock, Painted Christmas 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, Real Red 3/8" Mini Ruffled Ribbon, Clear Block A, Clear Block B, Clear Block C, Grid Paper, Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Strawberry Builder Punch, Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips Scissors, Bone Folder, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Stampin' Dimensionals, Tear & Tape Adhesive, Stampin' Seal, Mini Glue Dots, and pen or pencil.
If you mess up slightly and cut your designer paper on the wrong angle, you can just switch the position of some of the elements and make the card like this:
