Over the years I've stayed in touch with a wonderful woman who was our neighbor when I was a little girl. She immigrated to America from the United Kingdom as a military bride. Her mother stills lives in England and is celebrating her 100th birthday this year. My friend requested cards for her mom to help her celebrate this milestone birthday. Since her mom served during World War II in the Women's Royal Air Force (WRAF), I thought a card with red poppies made with the Painted Poppies Bundle would be appropriate.
Uses Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set and Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set plus Night of Navy Cardstock, Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad, Real Red Cardstock, Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad, Real Red Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (Dark), Whisper White Cardstock, In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, Paper Trimmer, Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Take Your Pick, Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip, Paper Snips, Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Seal, Stampin' Dimensionals, Clear Block B, Clear Block C, Grid Paper, 2" Circle Punch, Painted Labels Dies, and die cutting and embossing tool.
Here is a link to the directions for the Painted Poppies WRAF Poppy Birthday card.
