Cards For My Mom

My Mom lives in an assisted living facility in Florida since she has memory issues.  Because of COVID-19, her facility is on lock down - no one can visit them and they can't go anywhere.  I've been talking to her on the phone and have sent her some pictures and accounts of some of our recent adventures.  Since I know her fellow residents are stuck too, I told her I'd send her a bunch of cards that she can then hand out to them and the workers who take such good care of them to spread a little joy. 

These cards are mostly extra samples I had on hand plus a few swaps I'd received or other cards that I received that I cut the fronts off of and adhered to a new card base.

I hope you and your friends and family are staying home, staying safe, and keeping other safe.

Make A Difference 50th Flowers

I used the Make A Difference Set along with some of the gorgeous Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper that I altered with Sponge Daubers and ink to make a pretty 50th birthday card for one of my customers.  I did a very subtle bokeh background on the large white layer by pressing a Sponge Dauber dabbed in Soft Sea Foam ink randomly all over the cardstock.

Power of Hope Purple Floral Kimono

Here's another card I sent out recently to a customer friend for her birthday.  It uses the Power of Hope Bundle that can be earned for FREE during Sale-A-Bration and a little paper-piecing to create the purple floral kimono.

  Uses Power of Hope Cling Stamp Set plus Gorgeous Grape Cardstock, Gorgeous Grape Classic Stampin' Pad, Highland Heather Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, Silver Foil Sheets, Silver Metallic Thread, Purple 3/8" Tricolor Ribbon, Highland Heather Light Stampin' Blends, Highland Heather Dark Stampin' Blends, Smoky Slate Dark Stampin' Blends, Ivory Stampin' Blends, Color Lifter Stampin' Blends, Memento Pad, Clear Block G, Clear Block H, Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and Stampin' Scrub, Grid Paper, Mini Glue Dots, Tear & Tape Adhesive, SNAIL Adhesive, Paper Snips, Layering Ovals Dies, Stone 3D Embossing Folder, 3D Embossing Folder Plate, Paper Trimmer, die cutting and embossing tool, and spray bottle filled with water (an old Stampin' Mist bottle works great).
