Reason for Absence

I'm very sorry that I have been out of touch lately and unable to post or hold events.  My father went in the hospital on November 1 because he was having extreme difficulty breathing.  It turns out that his heart was acting up and causing some fluid build up in his lungs which was making it hard for him to breathe.  He had to have a catheterization procedure to diagnose the problem and then had to have a defibrillator implanted.  My mother really needed someone to be with her while everything was going on, so I flew down to Orlando, Florida to help for two weeks.

There is a lot going on right now in my parents' lives, so it is possible that I will have to take off to help again at any time at a moment's notice.  My brother and sister and I are trying our best to get things under control, but it is sometimes difficult to do especially from long distance.

Of course, the good thing about going down to Florida is the chance to see my son and my adorable grandson!  And, I don't mind getting away from the cool weather either!

Hi Michelle,

I do check each day to see if you are able to post. I love and appreciate all your samples and creative ideas. But your family is definitely the most important thing. It is wonderful that you are able to be there for them.
