Here's a fun way to use strips of Designer Series Paper. Simply fold them to showcase both pretty sides and adhere them together across a card to make a paper garland. For this card that we made in my Club Classes this month, we used the Christmas Pines Set and Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper.
Uses Christmas Pines Photopolymer Set plus Mint Macaron Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Emerald Envy Classic Stampin' Pad, Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper, 3/8" Silky Taffeta Ribbon Combo Pack, SNAIL Adhesive, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Clear-Mount Block B, Clear-Mount Block H, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Standard Cutting Pads, Magnetic Platform, Big Shot Platform, Pretty Pines Thinlits, and Pine Bough Embossing Folder.
To create the paper garland, cut 4 strips of Designer Series Paper to 1" x 2-1/2". Fold the top right hand corner to the edge on two of the strips and the top left hand corner to the edge on the other two strips. Do the reverse on the bottom of each strip. Carefully place your strips onto your card stock layer to figure out the spacing and adhere them in place one at a time. If you want to make a card with landscape orientation, you will need to cut 5 strips of Designer Series Paper. Fold 3 of them one way and the other 2 the other way.
