Shannon West is an employee of Stampin' Up! who recently started the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement. This movement encourages people to send actual birthday cards through the mail rather than just sending electronic wishes on social media. Stampin' Up! even created a stamp for the movement that can be used to stamp envelopes and cards to help get the message out there. Shannon recently celebrated her birthday, so I made her a special birthday card and mailed it to her at Stampin' Up! I used a mix of retiring products and some new products that will be in the new big catalog effective June 1.

To create the cake, I stamped the image in Sahara Sand Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock. I then placed some pieces of washi tape across the cake part of the image. I cut out the cake and stand using Paper Snips. To make the candles, I placed a couple of strips of washi tape onto white card stock and strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back. Then, I punched three candles out with the candle punch from the Party Punch Pack. I peeled the backing off the Tear & Tape on the back side of the candles and stuck them to the Window Sheet. I stuck some Melon Mambo Candy Dots together back to back and added them to the shaker card mix.
Items highlighted in bold are retiring. Items highlighted in italics are new products that will be available in the new catalog effective June 1.
