Paper Pumpkin Wickedly Sweet Treat Ideas

The September Paper Pumpkin Kit called Wickedly Sweet Treat was so much fun!  I actually ordered two kits because I'd heard from some of the Demonstrators that went to Convention that it was a really cute way to package Halloween treats!  I used one kit and part of the other to make these adorable broom treat bags as intended.  I gave these to my Club Members along with their September Club Orders.  Each bag was filled with See's Candies which I'd bought while on the Newport Beach Getaway Weekend Incentive Trip.

  Also uses Hello Honey Classic Stampin' Pad, Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin' Pad, Bone Folder, Clear-Mount Block A, and Clear-Mount Block B.

I then used some of the remaining bags to make these alternate versions which I filled with candy and sent to my young niece and nephews.  The broom is a little decoration I kept to decorate the Stampin' Studio during October.

Flurry of Wishes Snowflake Tunnel Card

Here's the last of the cards we made in my Club Classes this month featuring fun folds or cards that move.  This is a modified tunnel card made with the Flurry of Wishes Set.  If you twist the snowflake inside the tunnel and then carefully close the card before sliding it into the envelope, the snowflake will spin when the recipient opens the card.

Cheer All Year Season to Season Wreath

I really do love these new kits that Stampin' Up! has been creating.  They make it so easy for us to create amazing projects.  Here's my Halloween wreath that I created using the Cheer All Year Set and Season to Season Wreath Project Kit.  It's hanging on my Stampin' Studio door to greet my customers when they come in.

  Uses Cheer All Year Photopolymer Set plus Cajun Craze Classic Stampin' Pad, Season to Season Wreath Project Kit, Memento Pad, Bone Folder, Clear-Mount Block A, Clear-Mount Block H, and hot glue gun.

Here's a close-up of the banners strung across the middle as the wreath lays on one of my stamping tables.

Finally, here are the banners for autumn/fall and Christmas that I'll add to wreath when appropriate.

Do be careful not to glue your leaves too close together when adding them to your wreath base or you'll run out.  I put mine too close together when I started, so I ran out.  Fortunately, you have lots of designer paper left over after punching out the leaves.  So, I used my Big Shot and Leaflets Framelits to cut out some more leaves and glued them in place to finish out my wreath.

Jingle All the Way Silent Night Flip Card

We focused on making cards that move or have a fun fold at my Club Classes this month.  One easy to make card of this type is a flip card (or swing card or flip-flop card), especially when you use our Circle Card Thinlits Dies!  Here's a pretty Christmas card we made using the Circle Card Thinlits and the adorable Jingle All the Way Stamp Set.

As you can see in the second picture, we added an extra flap on the right side of the card.  I like to add this flap so that you have some space to stamp a sentiment, write a message, and sign your name.  It is super easy to add this flap, simply cut your card stock to 5-3/8" x 8-1/2".  Slide it into the Circle Card Thinlit as if the thinlit was a buckle and run through the Big Shot.  This will make sure that the right edge does not cut and will actually score it for you so you can fold it in.

Barnyard Babies Jumping for Joy Lambs

The Global Design Project Challenge (#GDP007) for this week was to create a card with a farm theme.  I needed a card to send to a friend who recently got a new granddaughter, so I pulled out my Barnyard Babies Set, some Shimmery White Card Stock, and an Aqua Painter and created this fun card.

Walk In Wednesday - Acorny Thank You and Build a Birthday

Walk In Wednesday is on for today!

This is a day when you can stop by and pick up orders, place orders, pay for orders, look at displays, pick up a new catalog, ask questions, get help with products, sign up for upcoming events, and stamp a couple of quick and easy projects.

I have a couple of orders here and ready for pick up. 

Retired merchandise is still out for sale, including some newly retired merchandise from the Occasions Catalog last spring.  Retired items are available on a first-come, first-served basis ONLY.  If you plan to shop retired merchandise, please be sure to bring your checkbook or cash (no bills larger than $20 please).  I can NOT accept credit cards for retired merchandise.

You can stop by anytime between 3 p.m and 6 p.m.  You don't have to tell me in advance that you are coming, just pop by!  Please just remember to come to the Stampin' Studio door at the back of the house after parking on the grass along Terrace Road.
