This is the last of the cards we made in my Club Classes this month featuring unconventional ways of using our products. It uses the gorgeous Embellished Ornaments Bundle.
Uses Embellished Ornaments Wood-Mount Set plus Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad, Subtles Collection Stampin' Write Markers (Wild Wasabi), Real Red Card Stock, Garden Green Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Gold Foil Sheets, Red Foil Sheets, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Tear & Tape Adhesive, Fine-Tip Glue Pen, Happy Patterns Decorative Masks, 1/8" Striped Ribbon, Heat Tool, Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details, Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, Sponge Daubers, VersaMark Pad, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Stampin' Trimmer, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Magnetic Platform, Precision Base Plate, and Delicate Ornaments Thinlits.
The unconventional part is that we reverse embossed the main ornament image by placing the thinlits die on the foil sheet upside down (cutting edges facing up) before running it through the Big Shot. Instead of cutting the foil, the die embossed the delicate images on the foil. We then cut the image out using the matching open space die.
We also used the Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details in a different way. We used a Sponge Dauber to sponge some of the Dazzling Details through part of one of the Happy Patterns Decorative Masks to make some shiny tinsel hanging down beside the ornament. To clean the mask afterwards, I just soaked it in some warm water and the glitter glue just floated right off.
