I attended a big Team Meeting held by my upline on Saturday. One of the things we always do at stamping events is swap! I had fun creating my swap card using a couple of products from the upcoming Holiday Catalog in different ways! First, I used the Sparkly Seasons Set to create a pretty birthday card for a girl who loves ballerinas. I also cut apart some of the Spider Web Doilies and used the pieces to create tiaras for the cards. The tiaras are sponged with Dazzling Details so they are a bit sparkly in real life, but the sparkles never scan well.

This is the last of the cards we made in my Club Classes this month featuring sneak peeks from the Holiday Catalog and things that shimmer, shine, and sparkle! It highlights the beautiful Flurry of Wishes Bundle and several gorgeous accessories including the white ribbon from the Gold & White 3/8" Glitter Ribbon. Both of these ribbons are beautiful, but the white ribbon can easily be altered to any color you need just by coloring the back (smooth) side of the ribbon with the brush tip of a Stampin' Write Marker. We colored ours Lost Lagoon for this card.

To get the gold glitter spatter you will need Multipurpose Liquid Glue, an Aqua Painter or paintbrush, water, Stampin’ Glitter, and a disposable container (like an old button container). Squirt a dollop of Multipurpose Liquid Glue into the container. Add a few drops of water and stir together with Aqua Painter brush (or paintbrush). Pick up some of the glue/water mixture with the brush tip and hold it over the paper you want to splatter about 4-5 inches over the paper. Sharply tap the barrel near the brush to make little drops fly off. Repeat until you have a bunch of little glue spatters all over the paper. You are probably getting more than you realize! Sprinkle on the glitter and tap off excess. Allow to dry. You may want to lightly brush the surface with a clean, dry brush after it is dry to knock off even more excess glitter. If you only want the glitter in certain areas, then be sure to mask the portion you want to leave glitter free with a piece of scratch paper. Be sure to protect your work surface too!
