Here's a simple, pretty birthday card I created for a downline member using the new Birthday Blossoms Set. Enjoy!
Uses Birthday Blossoms Clear-Mount Set plus Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad, Calypso Coral Classic Stampin' Pad, Old Olive Card Stock, Calypso Coral Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack, SNAIL Adhesive, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Brights Designer Buttons, Blender Pens, Pansy Punch, Paper Snips, Stampin' Trimmer, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Brick Wall Embossing Folder, Clear-Mount Block C, Clear-Mount Block D, and Clear-Mount Block G.
When coloring with a Blender Pen, squeeze the lid of the ink pad into the pad before opening. This will give you a pool of ink on the inside of the lid that you can pick up with the Blender Pen to color your image. Be sure to stroke in one direction only with the pen tip to avoid pilling and tearing the card stock.
The flower image and matching Pansy Punch are not symmetrical. To make it easy to stamp the flower and punch it out without having to constantly rotate your card stock, stamp the flower and figure out which way it fits into the punch. Then, draw an up arrow on the foam on the back of the stamp using a Sharpie Marker. Make sure you always stamp with the arrow pointing up and then slide the card stock into the punch for easy punching.
