One of my downline members recently became a grandmother again. I had fun making this card using the Ray of Sunshine Set and the "rock and roll" technique to send to her.
Uses Ray of Sunshine Clear-Mount Stamp Set plus Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad, Crushed Curry Classic Stampin' Pad, Crushed Curry Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Gold Metallic Thread, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Banner Punch, Craft Scissors, Stampin' Trimmer, Clear-Mount Block C, and Stamp-a-ma-jig.
The "rock and roll" technique is a fun and easy technique to add two tones of color to a stamped image. Just ink up the image with the lightest color you want to use. Then holding the block at an angle, roll the edges of the stamp around on the darker color of ink pad. Give the stamp the "breath of life" by breathing on it to remoisten the inks and stamp onto your card stock.
I'm normally too lazy to bother with the Stamp-a-ma-jig, but if you want the images to line up perfectly as I did with the sentiment on this card, then you will want to use it!
You can place an online order for some of the products used on this card by simply clicking on the image of them below. This will take you directly to my online store! Or, contact me at michelerey@aol.com to have me place an order for you!
