I made a bunch of little treat bags using the new Gift Bag Punch Board and some retiring Designer Series Papers and Chevron Ribbons. I decorated the bags with a flower made with the awesome new Cotton Paper Assortment. My Club Members who came to Club Classes this month got to choose one of these adorable little bags as an extra treat as a thank you for coming to Class.
Uses Flowerpot Designer Series Paper, Confetti Celebration Designer Series Paper, Park Lane Designer Series Paper, Back to Black Designer Series Paper, Cotton Paper Assortment, Gift Bag Punch Board, Sticky Strip, Basic Black 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, Blushing Bride 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, Calypso Coral 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, Pear Pizzazz 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, Antique Brads, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Standard Cutting Pads, Magnetic Platform, Floral Frames Collection Framelits, and scratch paper.
To make a flower, I cut out one flower each using the three smallest Floral Frames Collection Framelits and one color of the Cotton Paper Assortment. I did find it necessary to put a piece of scratch paper under the Cotton Paper in the Big Shot sandwich. This made it much easier to pull the framelits back off the cutting pad. Otherwise, the Cotton Paper is so thin, the framelits just get mashed into the cutting pad and it is almost impossible to pry them up! After cutting out the three flowers, I stacked them up, poked a hole in the center, and inserted an Antique Brad. I then just crumpled the Cotton Paper up until I had a fun flower!
