In my Club Classes this month, we focused on all kinds of ways to use the amazing Blendabilities Markers. This first card uses them in the traditional way to color in a stamped image from the Flower Shop Set, but it also showcases a fun technique where you can make your own custom-colored embellishments with hot glue!
Uses Flower Shop Wood-Mount Set, Gorgeous Grunge Wood-Mount Set, and Wetlands Clear-Mount Set plus Wisteria Wonder Classic Stampin' Pad, Wisteria Wonder Card Stock, Elegant Eggplant Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, 2-Way Glue Pen, Silicone Craft Sheet, Wisteria Wonder 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, Wisteria Wonder Assortment Stampin' Blendabilities Markers, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Stampin' Trimmer, Pansy Punch, Clear-Mount Block B, and hot glue gun.
To make the glue dot embellishments, just scribble onto your Silicone Craft Sheet with the brush tip of a Blendabilities Marker and then immediately add some dots of hot glue. Allow the glue to dry completely, peel them up, and voila! You have some custom-colored embellishments! You'll get rounder, more even dots if you use a high heat glue gun, but I only own a low heat one because I burn myself too much otherwise! You can trim off any excess blobs of glue or strings using Paper Snips. You can also add more color to the tops of your glue dots by coloring on them with a Blendabilities Marker if you wish. Just adhere them to your project using a dab of 2-Way Glue Pen or a Glue Dot.
