We used three new sets that will be available in the Holiday Catalog starting August 28 on this next card that we made in my August Club Classes. The three sets are called Fall Fest, Seasonally Scattered, and Holiday Home and they are all wonderful!
We also used the thumping technique on the Seasonally Scattered stamp. To thump, simply ink up a fairly solid image stamp with a light color of ink. Then, randomly thump the brush tips of different colored markers all over the stamp. Give the stamp the "breath of life" to make sure the ink is nice and moist and stamp onto your card stock. Voila, a multi-colored image!

At my Club Classes this month, we focused on new products in the Holiday Catalog which you will be able to order from starting August 28. Welcome to the Pinworthy Blog Tour for August presented by RemARKable Stampers. This month we're celebrating new beginnings of all types - new babies, back to school, engagements, weddings, new jobs, retirement, anything that starts a new chapter in life!
My first card could be used for many of these types of occasions. I love how easy it is to line things up when stamping with our photopolymer sets like the Bravo Set used here. I also used the Be the Star Set and a few leftover silver stars from last month's Paper Pumpkin Wish Big Kit.

I used the Little Letters Thinlits to create a mask for sponging the letters onto the chalk board. I did use the 2-Way Glue Pen on the backs of the tiny pieces cut out of the center of the "A" and "B" and allowed it to dry for a bit so it would be sticky like a Post-It Note. That way, I was able to attach the tiny pieces in place before sponging on the white ink and then easily remove them when I was done. This feature of the 2-Way Glue Pen is why it is called a 2-Way Glue Pen! Did you know that?
I also used the small heart framelit included in the Hearts a Flutter Framelits and the Petite Curly Label Punch to create the apple on the desk. I just cut out a heart and then punched off the bottom point with the edge of the Petite Curly Label Punch. I then added a leaf and stem punched out with the Bird Builder Punch and trimmed down. Voila, an apple!

I used one of the awesome new products in the Holiday Catalog to make these adorable little boxes! It's a Gift Box Punch Board! You can use it to quickly and easily make boxes from 1-3/4" on all sides to 4" on all sides. No adhesive required either!
I made mine the smallest size (1-3/4") and decorated them with the A Round Array and Dotty Angles stamps. Then, I filled them with three delicious Lancaster candies and gave them to my Club Members who came to Club Classes this month.
