Welcome to the Pinworthy Blog Tour for August presented by RemARKable Stampers. This month we're celebrating new beginnings of all types - new babies, back to school, engagements, weddings, new jobs, retirement, anything that starts a new chapter in life!
My first card could be used for many of these types of occasions. I love how easy it is to line things up when stamping with our photopolymer sets like the Bravo Set used here. I also used the Be the Star Set and a few leftover silver stars from last month's Paper Pumpkin Wish Big Kit.
Uses Bravo Photopolymer Set and Be the Star Clear-Mount Set plus Wish Big Monthly Kit from Paper Pumpkin and Bermuda Bay Classic Stampin' Pad, Pool Party Classic Stampin' Pad, Bermuda Bay Card Stock, Pool Party Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, 2-Way Glue Pen, Paper Snips, Stampin' Trimmer, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Standard Cutting Pads, Magnetic Platform, Stars Framelits, Clear-Mount Block H, and Clear-Mount Block I.
Don't forget that you can get 50% off your first two months of Paper Pumpkin if you sign up for Paper Pumpkin by September 10! You can have a new beginning as a Paper Pumpkin subscriber! Just contact your Demonstrator for all the details.
My next card is a fun baby card using the Big News Set.
Uses Big News Clear-Mount Set plus Pink Pirouette Classic Stampin' Pad, Pool Party Classic Stampin' Pad, So Saffron Classic Stampin' Pad, Subtles Collection Stampin' Write Markers (Pink Pirouette, Pool Party, and So Saffron), Pink Pirouette Card Stock, Pool Party Card Stock, So Saffron Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, SNAIL Adhesive, Hearts & Stars Decorative Masks, 2013-2015 In Color Sequin Assortment, 1/8" Mini Brads, Sponge Daubers, VersaMark Pad, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, and Clear-Mount Block I.
My final card is perfect for a teacher or student going back to school and features the Banner Banter Set.
Uses Banner Banter Clear-Mount Set and Hardwood Clear-Mount background stamp plus Pistachio Pudding Classic Stampin' Pad, Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad, Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad, Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Pad, Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock, Pistachio Pudding Card Stock, Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, Garden Green Card Stock, Basic Black Card Stock, Soft Suede Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, 2-Way Glue Pen, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, Sponge Daubers, Whisper White Craft Stampin' Ink Pad, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Stampin' Trimmer, Petite Curly Label Punch, Bird Builder Punch, Banner Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Standard Cutting Pads, Magnetic Platform, Little Letters Thinlits, Hearts a Flutter Framelits, and Clear-Mount Block A.
I used the Little Letters Thinlits to create a mask for sponging the letters onto the chalk board. I did use the 2-Way Glue Pen on the backs of the tiny pieces cut out of the center of the "A" and "B" and allowed it to dry for a bit so it would be sticky like a Post-It Note. That way, I was able to attach the tiny pieces in place before sponging on the white ink and then easily remove them when I was done. This feature of the 2-Way Glue Pen is why it is called a 2-Way Glue Pen! Did you know that?
I also used the small heart framelit included in the Hearts a Flutter Framelits and the Petite Curly Label Punch to create the apple on the desk. I just cut out a heart and then punched off the bottom point with the edge of the Petite Curly Label Punch. I then added a leaf and stem punched out with the Bird Builder Punch and trimmed down. Voila, an apple!
I hope you liked the projects I created. If you did, please let me know by leaving a comment. Feel free to Pin, Like, or Tweet any of my creations as well!
