Welcome to the Pinworthy Blog Tour for July presented by RemARKable Stampers. We're celebrating Summer Fun this month!
In Maryland, summer is all about crab feasts! I made these fun little tags and tied them to some crab mallets and cello bags filled with Old Bay Seasoning as extra treats for my June Club Hostesses and the first two ladies to get their orders to me in June.
Uses Sea Street Clear-Mount Set and Yippee-Skippee! Clear-Mount Set plus Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad, Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad, Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Marker, Night of Navy Stampin' Write Marker, Calypso Coral Card Stock, Night of Navy Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, 1" x 8" Cellophane Bags, Tag a Bag Accessory Kit (Whisper White Thick Baker's Twine), SNAIL Adhesive, 2-Way Glue Pen, Cherry Cobbler 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Stampin' Trimmer, Angled Tag Topper Punch, 1/4" Circle Handheld Punch, Clear-Mount Block A, Clear-Mount Block B, Clear-Mount Block H, crab mallets, and Old Bay Seasoning.
A cold slice of sweet watermelon is always a fun summer treat! Plus, you are allowed to spit the seeds out for more fun! I created my watermelon by masking off part of a half-circle of vanilla card stock with a circle of copy paper and then adding streaks of green with a Sponge Dauber. I then removed the mask and lightly sponged the lighter green over the remainder of the vanilla half-circle before adding the Melon Mambo half-circle. The seeds were added by pressing the brush tip of the black marker to the card stock at an angle.
Uses Bravo Photopolymer Stamp Set and Hardwood Clear-Mount background stamp plus Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin' Pad, Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad, Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin' Pad, Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, Melon Mambo Card Stock, Pear Pizzazz Card Stock, Garden Green Card Stock, Crumb Cake Cake Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, SNAIL Adhevsive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Melon Mambo 1/4" Cotton Ribbon, Sponge Daubers, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Stampin' Trimmer, 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Standard Cutting Pads, Magnetic Platform, Circles Collection Framelits, Clear-Mount Block F, Clear-Mount Block H, and copy paper.
Or, maybe you prefer an icy popsicle! We really LOVE the Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops in St. Augustine, Florida. If you are ever in the oldest city in the US, be sure to stop by and try one of their delicious popsicles! I made my popsicle using one of my favorite new stamp sets, Work of Art. This set is rapidly becoming one of my go-to sets; it is so versatile!
