I love the new photopolymer sets in the new catalog, like the Flower Patch Set used here. Because they are photopolymer, they are completely clear which makes it easy to stamp them just where you want them. Two-step stamped flowers in layered colors are now super simple! I also love that the photopolymer sets are less expensive than they would be if you bought them in Wood-Mount or even Clear-Mount. You get more bang for your buck so you can buy extras to bling up your projects!

Here's a tip I found useful for stamping with the photopolymer sets, especially the larger stamps included in these sets. Place your Stampin' Pierce Mat on your work surface and place your card stock on top of the mat. Ink up your stamp and stamp. You'll get a nice, clean, evenly stamped image when you stamp on top of the Stampin' Pierce Mat!

Each month, I challenge the members of my Stampin' Clubs to create a project for a contest and submit it to me. I assign a theme for them each month. We didn't have a contest in May because of my busy schedule with my son's graduation, out of town guests, and our vacation.
The contest was back for this month though and the theme was masculine. They could create any kind of project they wanted as long as it had a masculine feel.
All of the projects were wonderful, as always! Voting was really close. In fact, we had two cards with the same number of votes, so I had to get my son to vote for his favorite between the two to break the tie!

I love being a Demonstrator for Stampin' Up! for many reasons. One of them is that they are a company that truly believes in giving back. I had the chance to play with my May Paper Pumpkin Hey, Man Kit on Wednesday while everyone was here for Walk In Wednesday.
First, I created one of the cards as intended. This is the card we sent my Dad for Father's Day. The only things I had to provide outside of the Kit were some Clear Blocks and scissors.
Then, I used the remaining pieces to create some additional cards of my own designs. I cut the little 3" x 3" cards apart and used them on my full size cards since I don't really need any gift cards right now.
Here's the Father's Day card I'm giving my husband. I did use a partial sentiment from another set since none of the sentiments that came with the kit were quite appropriate.
