Welcome to the Pinworthy Blog Tour for May presented by RemARKable Stampers. May is National Scrapbooking Month, so this month we are presenting ideas to help you capture your memories!
We love to travel and I have tons of great pictures in envelopes and digitally stored on my computer. Unfortunately, I never seem to find the time to sit down and scrapbook our adventures! So, I'm really looking forward to the new Project Life by Stampin' Up! products and am going to make it a serious goal to start preserving our memories using this system.
I did use our awesome My Digital Studio software last year though to create a personalized 2014 calendar featuring some of my favorite travel photos. I was also able to go ahead and put important dates on the calendar like family birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. I love being able to remember some of our travel adventures every time I look at my calendar! I thought I'd share a few of my favorite pages with you for this blog tour.
This first page was the main page for the month of February and shows me with my true love and wonderful husband Dave on trips to New York City, Ireland, and San Antonio, Texas.
Here are some more pictures from our trip to Ireland on the main page for the month of March and the actual calendar page for March. We traveled to Ireland with my Mom and Dad and had a fantastic time exploring this beautiful country. One of our favorite adventures was the chance to hold these beautiful Harris Hawks and watch them "hunt" the scraps we got to throw out for them.
Next, I've got the main page for June showcasing some of our trip to Hawaii! I love all four of the pictures on this page because they each have an entire story associated with them. I just have to look at them to smile and remember laughing, learning, and exploring with my family.
For July's main page, I used one of my favorite pictures ever! My three guys having a blast together on a sailboat in St. Maarten. I just love their smiles!
Here's one last page I wanted to share. This is the main page for the month of August and showcases memories of one of our excursions in Fiji last year. I love being a Demonstrator for Stampin' Up! for many, many reasons, but one of them is the chance to travel that is offered to Demonstrators. We had the best time in Fiji, someplace I'm not sure I ever would have gotten to without Stampin' Up!
All of these pages were created using My Digital Studio software and various downloads. I had the calendar printed using the professional print services offered by Stampin' Up! I love my 2014 calendar!
