I made this card using the Peaceful Petals Set and the Hardwood background stamp. I stamped the Hardwood image first and then rubbed Whisper White Craft Ink all over the image to soften it a bit, so it would look like old wood. I colored the flower using Blender Pens and ink from the pad lids on Watercolor Paper.
I sent this card to a friend who's been going through some very rough times lately. I wanted to let her know that I'm thinking about her and hoping things get better soon. I hope it brightens her day a little.
Uses Peaceful Petals Clear-Mount Set and Hardwood Clear-Mount background stamp plus Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad, Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad, Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Pad, So Saffron Classic Stampin' Pad, Crushed Curry Classic Stampin' Pad, Soft Suede Card Stock, Pear Pizzazz Card Stock, Watercolor Paper, Blender Pens, Whisper White Craft Stampin' Ink Pad, Crushed Curry 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Artisan Label Punch, Clear-Mount Block B, Clear-Mount Block D, and Clear-Mount Block F.
Thanks, Felicia. I'm so glad you like it! I originally planned to use the Hardwood background piece on a different card, but it just didn't work there. It was perfect for this card though!
