A good friend was a big help recently during my son's wedding festivities. She made some breakfast casseroles for us to feed all my relatives that were staying here and even allowed my son to stay with them the night before the wedding when our house was packed full! I made her this pretty card as a small thank you.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from my son's wedding at which her son was the bestman.
All of us ladies went and got our hair done before the wedding. From left to right: Danielle (my sister-in-law's mom all the way from France), my sister Wendy, my niece Jessie, me, my mom Carol, and my sister-in-law Annabelle.
My new daughter Tricia heard about the French custom of having the groom create the bride's bouquet, so she asked Brett to create her bouquet. This is Brett and bestman Pat building the bouquet for her.
Brett with the completed bouquet, which is tied up with Stampin' Up! ribbon because he couldn't find the ribbon she'd given him to use!
The very happy new Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds!
My younger son, Sean, served as a groomsman. Here he is escorting Tricia's sister Desiree, a bridesmaid, back into the room after the wedding. While we were in the vestibule waiting to be announced, Sean was actually crying a bit!
Brett with his bestman, Pat Kelsh. They've been best friends since 2nd grade!
Brett and Tricia have their first dance as husband and wife.
For those of you who know how much I hate shoes, be sure to note the ones I wore. Yes, I did wear them most of the time.
I'm not sure what was so funny, but I love the smiles on my boys' faces as Sean dances with Tricia.
Brett and Tricia enjoy their bites of cupcakes which they chose to have instead of a traditional wedding cake.
Pat, Matt, and Cathy Kelsh. Pat was bestman and Cathy is my friend who made breakfast casseroles for us.
My mom and dad during the reception.
My mom with Sean.
Oh I love, love, love those pictures! You all look so fantastic! Those shoes are awesome & you rocked 'em girl!

Thanks, Donna. It was a special, wonderful day. The shoes really weren't that bad to walk in and were so pretty they were worth it! We love the French bouquet tradition.

Oh myyy, what beautiful, beautiful photos and "family!" What a treat to take a peek into such a special day! Now for those shoes! I don't know how you managed in them as a "shoe hater." I don't wear heels any more as the following days my knees are killing me; I'm impressed by your efforts for glamor in the day! :) I never heard of making the bouquet for the bride like that, love it though! Thanks again for sharing! Blessings, Donna (SC)
