My November Paper Pumpkin Kit arrived today and I love it! I couldn't wait to put it together! It's called Noel and makes four fun Christmas cards.
Here's the card mostly the way Stampin' Up! intended for it to be put together:
It's not exactly the way they intended because I messed up and stamped my sentiment too high! So, I had to string the star banners underneath the sentiment instead of above it.
I love that the star banners are already sewn together making them really easy to use. I did cheat a little bit by cutting the banners apart and adhering just what I needed across the sentiment piece instead of wrapping it all the way around and around. I didn't want to waste the pretty star banners! Since I did cut them apart, I did have to use some Sticky Strip on the back of the sentiment piece to hold the banners in place.
Here's a short video from Stampin' Up! showing how quick and easy it is to assemble these cards as intended:
Here are three variations I created using the leftover star banner pieces that I cut off and just a bit of another star banner. I also used a 2-Way Glue Pen to adhere some of the stars to the sentiment pieces. Other than that, I used only the kit contents!
I still have some star banners left over that I'll be able to use on future projects.
