Wetlands Class Projects

Last Tuesday evening, I held the Stamp of the Month Class where we focused on the Wetlands Set. I love this set, especially for making some more masculine cards. Here are the cards we made in Class. Enjoy!

Uses Wetlands Clear-Mount Set plus Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin' Pad, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Pear Pizzazz Card Stock, Etcetera Designer Series Paper, Brights Designer Buttons, Natural 7/8" Cotton Ribbon, Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, SNAIL Adhesive, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Festive Paper-Piercing Pack, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Big Shot Magnetic Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Labels Collection Framelits, Clear-Mount Block B, and Clear-Mount Block D.

The white background layer on this next card is all sparkly because we spritzed it with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz, the shine just doesn't show up in the scan.

Uses Wetlands Clear-Mount Set plus Basic Black Classic Stampin' Pad, Basic Black Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz, Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, 1" Square Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Big Shot Magnetic Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Squares Collection Framelits, and Clear-Mount Block H.

We created a watercolor sunset behind the goose on this next card by scribbling with markers onto a Clear-Mount Block and spritzing it with water before stamping onto a piece of vanilla card stock. We then punched a circle in the Baked Brown Sugar layer behind the goose and slid the stamped sunset behind it. The straw "nest" on the button was created by pulling threads out of the Burlap Ribbon and then tying them together in a bundle.

For the last card, we did a little watercoloring using ink from the pad lid and Aqua Painters. You just have to allow the watercoloring plenty of time to dry before stamping images on top of it. We also used Sticky Strip to adhere the watercolor paper layer to the next layer, otherwise the watercolor paper wants to curl up at the edges!
