At my Club Classes this month, we focused on using some of the awesome, completely clear photopolymer stamp sets that Stampin' Up! now offers. This first card we made in class uses the Another Thank You Set.
Uses Another Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set plus Midnight Muse Classic Stampin' Pad, Soft Sky Classic Stampin' Pad, Midnight Muse Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Soft Sky Card Stock, Brayer, In Color Dahlias, Rhinetone Basic Jewels, Midnight Muse 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, SNAIL Adhesive, Glue Dots, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder, and Clear-Mount Block D.
Because these stamps are completely clear, it is easy to stamp a shadow effect with them by stamping an image or sentiment in a dark color and then in a lighter color just slightly offset.
We also used the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder in a slightly different way. We lightly added color to the inside of the folder using a Brayer and then just pressed the inked up folder onto the card stock with our hands to create the light mosaic pattern.
Welcome to the Best of Autumn Blog Tour hosted by RemARKable Stampers. Enjoy!
The scrawny tree image reminds me of a "Charlie Brown tree." So, I added some chevrons to this card using 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, the Chevron Embossing Folder, and the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit. I sponged ink through the gaps in the chevron stencil from the kit using a Sponge Dauber.
Uses Best of Autumn Clear-Mount Set and Fabulous Phrases Clear-Mount Set plus Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad, Pumpkin Pie Classic Stampin' Pad, Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad, Crushed Curry Classic Stampin' Pad, Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker, Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker, Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker, Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker, Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker, Pumpkin Pie Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Crushed Curry Card Stock, Build a Banner Simply Created Kit, Sponge Daubers, Regals Designer Buttons, Pumpkin Pie 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, Linen Thread, SNAIL Adhesive, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Big Shot Magnetic Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Squares Collection Framelits, Chevron Embossing Folder, Clear-Mount Block C, and Clear-Mount Block G.
I used the "rock and roll" technique on the leaves for this next thank you card. Just ink up an image in a lighter color and then "roll" the edges around on a darker complimentary color ink pad before stamping. I then used the Daffodil Delight Marker to color in the leaves so none of the vanilla card stock would show through. The Burlap Ribbon pieces are the bound edges that I cut off the ribbon when I wanted to unravel the ribbon for a different project. I just kept the bound edges because I knew I'd be able to use them eventually.
Uses Best of Autumn Clear-Mount Set and En Francais Wood-Mount background stamp plus Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad, Pumpkin Pie Classic Stampin' Pad, Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad, Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Marker, Daffodil Delight Card Stock, Pumpkin Pie Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Neutrals Core'dinations Card Stock, Stampin' Sanding System, Core'dinations Dust Buddy, Brights Designer Buttons, 1-1/4" Burlap Ribbon, SNAIL Adhesive, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Big Shot Magnetic Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Bitty Banners Framelits, Argyle Embossing Folder, Clear-Mount Block C, and Clear-Mount Block G.
This next card uses the Season of Style Designer Series Paper which is intended as a Christmas paper, but the colors were perfect for the bucket of apples image. I used Blender Pens to color the image. I just scribbled with the Markers onto a Clear Block and then picked up the ink from there to color. Just remember to stroke the Blender Pen tip in one direction only or you can make the card stock tear and pill.
Uses Best of Autumn Clear-Mount Set plus Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker, Neutrals Collection Stampin' Write Markers (Sahara Sand and Smoky Slate), Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Marker, Old Olive Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, Season of Style Designer Series Paper, Blender Pens, Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad, Regals Designer Buttons, Brights Candy Dots, Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Cherry Cobbler 1" Stitched Edge Grosgrain Ribbon, SNAIL Adhesive, Glue Dots, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, 3/16" Corner Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Needlepoint Border Embossing Folders, and Clear-Mount Block C.
My final project for this tour was inspired by some 8" x 8" framed artwork samplers that I made at my upline Janet Wakeland's house the other day during one of her Diva Day events. While I was there crafting, she "enabled" me a bit more by showing me this awesome burlap covered frame that she'd found at a store near her house. After the event, I had to go shopping at that store where I found this frame and some other awesome materials to use in future projects. I used the same watercoloring technique as used on the card above involving Blender Pens and ink from Markers scribbled on a Clear Block.
While the frame itself is not Stampin' Up!, everything else used to create the framed artwork is! What do you think, do you like it?
Here's a look at the images in the Best of Autumn Set:
I hope you liked the projects I created. If you did, please let me know by leaving a comment. Feel free to Pin, Like, or Tweet any of my creations as well!
One of my customers recently took part in an Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and raised a nice amount of money for the cause. I made this pink ribbon card featuring the Hearts a Flutter Set and Express Yourself Set to congratulate her on a job well done!
Uses Hearts a Flutter Clear-Mount Set and Express Yourself Hostess Only Clear-Mount Set plus Primrose Petals Classic Stampin' Pad, Primrose Petals Card Stock, Pink Pirouette Card Stock, Watercolor Paper, Aqua Painters, Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons, Primrose Petals 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Whisper White Baker's Twine, SNAIL Adhesive, Glue Dots, Stampin' Trimmer, Craft Scissors, Clear-Mount Block B, and Clear-Mount Block G.
I stamped the heart image from the Hearts a Flutter Set and then quickly ran the brush tip of an Aqua Painter over it to blur the ink. I then dragged the ink out behind the image and off the watercolor paper. I added a little more color to the drag mark by picking up excess ink from the ink pad lid.

Here is the invitation they chose from all the ones I designed and the matching RSVP card:
