I had hoped to get these cuties done and include them in yesterday's Blog Tour featuring the Halloween Bash Set, but it didn't happen! I made 24 of these little bat treat boxes as an extra goody for my Club Members. Each box holds two Seattle Chocolates truffles that I bought for them while we were on vacation recently.
Uses Halloween Bash Clear-Mount Set plus Basic Black Classic Stampin' Pad, Rich Razzleberry Card Stock, Basic Black Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, White Stampin' Chalk Marker, SNAIL Adhesive, 2-Way Glue Pen, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, Owl Builder Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Big Shot Magnetic Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Labels Collection Framelits, Ovals Collection Framelits, Petite Purse Bigz L Die, and Clear-Mount Block C.
I made the wings by cutting out half ovals with one of the Ovals Collection Framelits. I then punched part way into the straight edge on the bottom with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch a few times to give it the scalloped edge. The wings are just adhered to the back of the purse and then the sentiment cut out is glued over the ends. The teeth are hand cut tiny triangles adhered to the back side of the flap.
I hope my ladies enjoy their little bats (and the candies inside)!
Thanks, Kerry. They are really easy to make and so fun!
