Welcome to the RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour for May. We are focusing on the By the Tide Set this month.
I love this set. It is just perfect for masculine cards, but makes pretty feminine cards too. I'm so happy that it made it into the new big catalog!
Here's a card I made that makes me think of my dad since he enjoys fishing so much. I might even send him this card for his birthday later this week. I love being able to stamp directly onto the Natural Cotton Ribbon which also made it into the new big catalog.
Uses By the Tide Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block D, Clear-Mount Block E, Cajun Craze Classic Stampin' Pad, Baja Breeze Card Stock, Cajun Craze Card Stock, Crumb Cake Card Stock, Natural 7/8" Cotton Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Fancy Fan Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and Labels Collection Framelits Dies.
I love how this next card turned out. The center oval is actually cut out of the center of the piece of Designer Paper and the words are stamped on the vanilla layer underneath. It's hard to tell that though. I did have to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig, which I'm usually too lazy to bother with, to get the words to line up properly. The shell has a light coat of Frost White Shimmer Paint daubbed on it so it has a pearlescent shine like a real shell.
Uses By the Tide Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block C, Clear-Mount Block H, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Primrose Petals Classic Stampin' Pad, Raspberry Ripple Classic Stampin' Pad, Primrose Petals Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Frost White Shimmer Paint, Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, 2-Way Glue Pen, Sponge Daubers, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, and Ovals Collection Framelits Dies.
My final card for this blog tour is another more masculine one. Enjoy!
