I got the idea for these fun little decorated lunch bags from my upline, Janet Wakeland. I used the Pretty Petites Set which can be earned for free during Sale-A-Bration, some More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper, some lunch bags, and some clothespins to make these fun little treat bags as an extra gift for my Club Members with their February Club Orders. Of course, they are filled with some chocolates!
Uses Pretty Petites Set plus Primrose Petals Classic Ink Pad, Pool Party Classic Ink Pad, Pool Party Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper, Tea Lace Paper Doilies, Primrose Petals 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Glue Dots, SNAIL Adhesive, Brayer, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, 1-1/4" Square Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Petite Curly Label Punch, clothespins, and brown paper lunch bags.
The only lunch bags I could find were the regular size ones which were just too big for what I wanted. So, I cut them down to size!
First, I lined the bottom of the folded bag up with the 6" mark on my Stampin' Trimmer and cut off the top few inches.
Then, I lined up the left side of the bag on the 3-1/4" mark and cut the bag apart. Like this:
Then, I opened up the two pieces of the bag. I ran a line of SNAIL Adhesive down the inside of the open edges of the bigger piece of bag along the two sides and the bottom. I then placed the smaller piece of bag inside the larger piece and lined up the edges and pressed to adhere them together. Voila - a smaller bag!
