One of my downline recently moved to a new home. So, I created this card to send to her. I think it came out really cool! What do you think?
Uses Morning Post Alphabet Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block I, Pool Party Classic Stampin' Pad, Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad, Pool Party Card Stock, Real Red Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper, Primrose Petals 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Elements Cute Clips, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Trimmer, Craft Scissors, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and Hearts a Flutter Framelits.
Since I have the Clear-Mount version of this alphabet set, I just mounted all three letters on my block at the same time. I just had to remember to spell my word backwords so that when I stamped it, it would be stamped correctly! I also had to leave a space for the cut-out heart. I just used my Grid Paper to help me line the letters up and space them evenly. If you have the Wood-Mount version of this alphabet set, you'd probably want to use a Stamp-a-ma-jig instead so that you can line the letters up properly. The Basics Downloadable Class has some great projects, directions, and even a video on how to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
After stamping the word and before adhering the heart, I put Pool Party Ink directly onto my clear block and then pressed it to the paper. This gave the wonderful mottled blue background. I think it looks a little like stucco which was perfect for a new home card!
