Each month, I challenge the members of my Stampin' Clubs to create a project for a contest and submit it to me. I assign a theme for them each month.
For February, I challenged them to create a project with a masculine flair. They could create any kind of project they wanted. Products used didn't have to be current, but they did have to be Stampin' Up!
The run-away winner was this adorable card by Shannon Aydukovic:
Uses I Dig You Set plus Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad, Basic Black Classic Stampin' Pad, Real Red Card Stock, Basic Black Card Stock, Crumb Cake Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, 3/16" Metallic Brads, Pewter Hodgepodge Hardware (retired), Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Heart to Heart Punch (retired), Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, and Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Voting was really, really tight for second-place. In fact, we had a three-way tie going until the last votes came in. One vote made this awesome card by Connie Gibbons the second place winner:
Uses By the Seashore Set and Teeny Tiny Wishes Set plus Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad, Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper, Black Flourish Designer Jewels (retired), Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Stamping Sponges, Stampin' Trimmer, Modern Label Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and Post-It Notes (for masking).
Shannon and Connie each get $5 off their next order. Congratulations, ladies, they are fantastic cards!
