Note: The first rough draft of this post was accidentally published yesterday morning and went out to all those who subscribe to my blog. I've since added a few cards though, so please read!
Here are a few last minute Easter cards I made to send out. Enjoy!
I used the Watercolor Wonder Crayons to color the bunny in the egg image without blending them with any water.
I got this clever idea of using the Ovals Collection Framelits to make an Easter Basket and Easter eggs from another Demonstrator. I colored my Silver Glimmer Paper by spritzing it with Stampin' Spritzers filled with rubbing alcohol, ink, and water.
One of my customers mentioned at Walk In Wednesday that she was going to try to add bunny ears to an elephant stamp to make a fun Easter card. So, I gave it a try with the Henry Says Set in the Spring Catalog. I think it turned out cute!
Uses Henry Says Clear-Mount Set and Teeny Tiny Wishes Wood-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block B, Clear-Mount Block E, Island Indigo Classic Stampin' Pad, Bashful Blue Classic Stampin' Pad, 2011-2013 In Color Stampin' Write Markers (Island Indigo), Island Indigo Card Stock, Bashful Blue Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Tea for Two Designer Series Paper, SNAIL Adhesive, 2-Way Glue Pen, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Small Oval Punch, Blossom Petals Builder Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, and Needlepoint Border Textured Impressions Embossing Folders.
I love the clean simplicity of this last card.
Uses Ears to You Single-Image Clear-Mount Stamp and Teeny Tiny Wishes Wood-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block E, Lucky Limeade Classic Stampin' Pad, 2011-2013 In Color Stampin' Write Markers (Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder), Lucky Limeade Card Stock, Wisteria Wonder Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, 3/8" Designer Printed Brads, SNAIL Adhesive, 2-Way Glue Pen, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, and Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
I also made these fun bunny treat holders that I found on the Stampin' Up! blog to send to my nieces, nephews, sons, and future daughter-in-law. I used the Fancy Favor Bigz XL to make my boxes though instead of the Petite Purse Bigz L because I wanted the box portion to be large enough to hold some plastic eggs filled with treats. I did cut the tops off the boxes though to make them a little shorter.
Uses Itty Bitty Banners Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block G, Primrose Petals Classic Stampin' Pad, Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Pad, Pool Party Card Stock, Basic Gray Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper, Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit, Pool Party Baker's Twine, 3/16" Subtles Brads, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, 2-Way Glue Pen, Sticky Strip, Bone Folder, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Small Heart Punch, Small Oval Punch, Owl Builder Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Extended Premium Crease Pad, Extended Cutting Pads, Fancy Fan Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Bitty Banners Framelits, Ovals Collection Framelits, and Fancy Favor Bigz XL Die.
Each month, I challenge the members of my Stampin' Clubs to create a project for a contest and submit it to me. I assign a theme for them each month.
For March, I challenged them to create a project with a spring feel (because we are SO ready for spring!). They could create any kind of project they wanted. Products used didn't have to be current, but they did have to be Stampin' Up!

Here's the last of the cards we made in my Club Classes this month. It showcases the kissing technique where we kissed inked up images from the Secret Garden Set with the zig zag oval image from the Oh, Hello Set. To kiss while stamping, you simply press one image against another after inking up at least one of them. It's fun and easy, but then so is real kissing!
Uses Secret Garden Clear-Mount Set, Oh Hello Clear-Mount Set, and Friendly Phrases Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block B, Clear-Mount Block D, Clear-Mount Block E, Clear-Mount Block G, Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad, Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad, Pumpkin Pie Classic Stampin' Pad, Daffodil Delight Card Stock, Old Olive Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Brights Designer Buttons, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Trimmer, Craft Scissors, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Borders Scoring Plate, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, and Floral Frames Framelits.
We made this card in Club Classes this month, but I like it so much I think I'll use it as my swap card during the Fiji Incentive Trip as well! It showcases the By the Tide Set from the Spring Catalog and a little reverse masking!
Uses By the Tide Clear-Mount Set and Curly Cute Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block B, Clear-Mount C, Clear-Mount Block E, Clear-Mount Block H, Calypso Coral Classic Ink Pad, Baja Breeze Classic Ink Pad, Not Quite Navy Classic Ink Pad, Riding Hood Red Classic Ink Pad, Calypso Coral Card Stock, Baja Breeze Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Rhinetone Basic Jewels, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Blender Pens, Stamping Sponges, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Festive Paper-Piercing Pack, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Window Frames Collection Framelits, and copy paper (for creating reverse mask).
We made a reverse mask by cutting the Window Frames shape from a piece of copy paper which was placed over the white card stock layer. The coral and shell images were then stamped so they overlapped the edges of the mask a bit. We then added Baja Breeze Ink with a sponge and colored in the blank areas of the shell with a Blender Pen and Riding Hood Red Ink from the pad lid before removing the mask. After the mask was removed, the sentiment was stamped and the paper-piercing was done to outline the image.

This is one of the cards we made in my Club Classes this month featuring the Feeling Sentimental Set before it disappears!

The rectangle behind the phone booth was created by pressing Clear-Mount Block H directly onto the Riding Hood Red Ink Pad. We then stamped off on our scratch paper once before stamping onto the vanilla card stock. We did have to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the phone booth which was stamped twice, once in Early Espresso which had been stamped off and once with Cherry Cobbler. We just mounted the letters to spell out "Hi" together on Clear-Mount Block D making sure to spell the word backwards while putting it on the block.
