I love rediscovering an older stamp set like Elements of Style and making it fresh and fun again by using some new accessories. That's what I did with this vintage style card. I think I'm going to send this one to me my mother-in-law for Valentine's Day. Enjoy!
Uses Elements of Style Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block B, Clear-Mount Block E, Always Artichoke Classic Stampin' Pad, Sahara Sand Classic Stampin' Ink Refill, Subtles Collection Stampin' Write Markers (Pink Pirouette), Neutrals Collection Stampin' Write Markers (Sahara Sand), Pink Pirouette Card Stock, Always Artichoke Card Stock, Sahara Sand Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz, Vanilla 5/8" Flower Trim, Artisan Embellishments Kit, Glue Dots, SNAIL Adhesive, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Spritzer, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Stampin' Distress Tool, 1" Circle Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Window Frames Collection Framelits, water, and rubbing alcohol.
The roses are just cut from the Flower Trim and then lightly colored with the brush tip of the Pink Pirouette Marker. They are adhered to the card with Glue Dots. The bit of lace sticking out from behind the main image is from the awesome Artisan Embellishments Kit. The Pink Pirouette panel is spritzed with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz and the Stampin' Spritzer filled with a mix of Sahara Sand Ink Refill, water, and rubbing alcohol.
What old sets do you have on hand that could be spruced up with some fun new accessories?
