Welcome to the Best of Birthdays Blog Tour hosted by RemARKable Stampers. I hope you will enjoy all the wonderful creations you'll see today.
I will be celebrating a couple of big birthdays myself this year. I'll turn 50 in September and I'll be celebrating 10 years as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in August. Wow, the time sure has flown!
Here's my first creation using this set, a very masculine card using some strips of Parker's Patterns Designer Series Paper that I wove together.
Uses Best of Birthdays Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block G, Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad, Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, Crumb Cake Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Parker's Patterns Designer Series Paper, Linen Thread, Subtles Designer Buttons, Glue Dots, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, 1" Square Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, and Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
This next one is definitely more girly! The sentiment actually shimmers and shines because I embossed it in white and then painted over it with a mixture of Frost White Shimmer Paint and a drop of Primrose Petals Ink Refill. I also rubbed a little of the plain Shimmer Paint onto the embossed and sanded Core'dinations Card Stock.
Uses Best of Birthdays Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block D, Primrose Petals Classic Stampin' Ink Refill, Pink Pirouette Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Frost White Shimmer Paint, VersaMark Pad, Heat Tool, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Primrose Petals Core'dinations Card Stock, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons, Delicate Details Lace Tape, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Sponge Daubers, Stampin' Sanding Block, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Extra-Large Oval Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, empty button container (for mixing shimmer paint and ink refill in), toothpick (for stirring together the shimmer paint and ink refill), paintbrush (for painting on the shimmer paint mixture), and tissue (for buffing off excess shimmer paint mixture).
This one would be good for any kind of celebration. I masked the presents as I stamped them and used the Blender Pens to spread the ink around quickly before it dried so the presents were colored in.
Uses Best of Birthdays Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block B, Clear-Mount Block G, Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad, Pumpkin Pie Classic Stampin' Pad, Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad, Pumpkin Pie Card Stock, Real Red Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper, Old Olive 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Sticky Strip, Blender Pens, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, 1" Square Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Labels Collection Framelits, and Post-It Notes (for masking).
Who wouldn't love to receive this card? After all, who doesn't like cupcakes!?

Michele, I love them all but especially the first (woven strips). It's very creative. I also like the next one which is just plain pretty.

Thanks, Jenn. That is one of my favorites too even though I'm not a "pink girl."

Jenn's fave is the {Primrose Petals} GIRLY card! Love it Michele! I love shimmer paint too! Didn't think about mixing a drop of ink refill to change the color. Hmmmm.... good idea~! My blog is: jennreezie.webs.com but I'm not participating in the blog hop. :)
