Directions
1) Cut a piece of Always Artichoke Card Stock to 4 x 5 1/4".
2) Place the card stock inside the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder so it lines up on the framed image.
3) Build a sandwich of Multipurpose Platform with Tab 2 open, one Standard Cutting Pad, embossing folder with card stock inside as outlined in step 2, and the other Standard Cutting Pad. Run through the Big Shot.
4) Use the Gold Stampin' Dazzle Marker to outline the edges of the embossed card stock.
5) Cut a piece of More Mustard Card Stock to 3 1/2" square.
6) Stamp the second largest medallion image from the Daydream Medallions Set in Always Artichoke Ink onto the More Mustard square.
7) Build a sandwich of Multipurpose Platform completely closed, one Standard Cutting Pad, the stamped More Mustard card stock with third largest Floral Frames Framelits placed on top (make sure the cutting edge is facing down), and the other Standard Cutting Pad. Run through the Big Shot.
8) Use the 1-3/4" Circle Punch to punch the center out of the medallion image.
9) Stamp the solid small leaf image from the Gently Falling Set in Calypso Coral Ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla Card Stock.
10) Stamp the outline image of the same leaf in Raspberry Ripple Ink over the top of the solid image.
11) Use the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch to punch out the leaf image.
12) Adhere the medallion image over the leaf image so the leaf is centered in the circle.
13) Adhere the image to the left side of the embossed Always Artichoke card stock.
14) Cut a strip of More Mustard Card Stock about 5/8 x 3 1/2".
15) Ink up just the word "wonderful" on the Wonderful You image from the Loving Thoughts Set with the Raspberry Ripple Marker.
16) Stamp it onto the long strip of More Mustard card stock.
17) Cut a notch in the right end of the strip using Paper Snips or the 1-1/4" Square Punch.
18) Adhere the left edge of the strip to the bottom right side of the framed image.
19) Cut a piece of Always Artichoke Card Stock to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" using the Stampin' Trimmer.
20) Score the Always Artichoke Card Stock along the 8 1/2" side at 4 1/4" using the Scoring Blade on the Stampin' Trimmer. Fold in half to make card.
21) Adhere the embossed, outlined card front to the front of the card.
22) Use a Glue Dot to adhere a large, marbled Garden Green button from the Regals Designer Buttons to the card front so it covers the left end of the sentiment strip.
23) Cut a piece of Calypso Coral 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon about 4" long.
24) Lay the ribbon on your work surface and use the Raspberry Ripple Marker to color the ruffled edges just a bit by dragging the brush tip across the edges.
25) Tie the ribbon into a simple knot and trim the ends.
26) Use a Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon to the center of the button.
27) Adhere smallest Pearl Basic Jewels to the center of each of the flowers in the medallion image.
Tips
If you need to, adhere a thin strip of scrap card stock to the back of your cut out medallion image using SNAIL so that most of the strip sticks out from behind. Use this strip as a handle to help you manuever the medallion image into the 1-3/4" Circle Punch so you can easily punch out the very center of the image. Remove the strip handle when you are done punching.
If you want to line the two leaf images up exactly, you might want to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig sold on page 7 for $11.95. You can find directions for using this tool on page 37.
If you don't have the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, you can just stamp the leaf images onto a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock about 2-1/2" square instead. Then, adhere the medallion image over the stamped leaf image and trim off any excess vanilla card stock that shows.
I like to use a Square Punch to punch notches in the ends of my strips. I find I get a cleaner, more centered notch that way. I just slide the end of the strip into one corner of the square, line it up, and punch. If you don't have a square punch, you can just cut the notch with Paper Snips.
Don't forget that you can use the leftover rubber from the Daydream Medallions Set to make your own homemade rubber stamps using the Big Shot and Bigz Dies. Please refer to my blog post here for more details on how to do this.
