At my Club Classes this month we played with "out of the box" ways to use various products. This card uses several products, especially punches, in unique ways.
The owl shape is created by laying an owl punch out onto a piece of card stock and then spritzing the whole thing with an ink, rubbing alcohol, and water mixture in a Stampin' Spritzer. The owl punch out is then removed leaving the "ghost" image behind.
The gravestones are decorative label punch outs and a modern label punch out which have been sponged, spritzed with the Color Spritzer Tool, run through the Big Shot in Textured Impressions Embossing Folders, and stamped.
The large bat is created by punching out a piece of card stock with the Elegant Butterfly Punch and then punching off the bottom wings with the 3/4" Circle Punch.
Finally, the branch the owl is sitting on is created by trimming down one of the arms of the large snowflake cut out with the Snow Flurry Bigz Die and Big Shot. It doesn't even matter if the trimming is a bit rough since it is supposed to be a branch! One tip of the snowflake was even used as the owl's beak.
Enjoy!
