This is another one of the cards we made during my July Club Classes featuring techniques that use Ink Refills. This card features the very messy, but very cool, Frosted Filter technique. Click here for a wonderful tutorial with pictures and step-by-step directions.
Uses Christmas Lodge Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block C, Clear-Mount Block E, Clear-Mount Block I, Always Artichoke Classic Stampin' Pad, Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad, Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad, Always Artichoke Classic Stampin' Ink Refill, Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Ink Refill, River Rock Classic Stampin' Ink Refill, Always Artichoke Card Stock, Crumb Cake Card Stock, Heat Tool (to speed drying of coffee filter), Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon, Antique Brads, 3/16" Regals Brads, SNAIL Adhesive, Stamping Sponges, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Apothecary Accents Framelits, misting bottle filled with water, paper plate, paper towels, and unbleached coffee filter.
A bleached coffee filter would also work, but I only have the unbleached ones in the house since they are better for the environment and for us! A bleached coffee filter might give brighter colors as well, but for this card, I liked the earth-tone better anyway.
You might want to wear gloves when doing this technique as it is very, very messy!
love it

Very pretty and not to time consuming. Will have to try it. Thanks. Edna
