I made these little candy boxes for the members of my Clubs who came to Club Classes this month and filled them with Sweetarts Hearts. Once I got all the measurements figured out, they really weren't hard to make. Enjoy!

Directions
1) Cut two pieces of Riding Hood Red Card Stock to 3 1/4" square.
2) Build a a sandwich of Multipurpose Platform with all tabs closed, one Standard Cutting Pad, one square of Riding Hood Red Card Stock, the third smallest Hearts Collection Framelits Die with the cutting edge facing down, and the other Standard Cutting Pad. Run through the Big Shot.
3) Repeat step 2 with the other square of Riding Hood Red Card Stock.
4) Cut two strips of Riding Hood Red Card Stock to 1 1/4 x 7".
5) Place one strip of card stock onto the Simply Scored Tool so one short edge is lined up along the top.
6) Score down the length of the strip at the 1/2" mark.
7) Repeat steps 5 and 6 with the other strip of Riding Hood Red Card Stock.
8) Place one strip back on the Simply Scored Scoring Tool so one long edge is lined up along the top.
9) Score the strip at the 1 1/2", 3 1/2", and 5 1/2" marks.
10) Place the other strip back on the Simply Scored Scoring Tool so one long edge is lined up along the top.
11) Score this strip at the 1 3/8", 3 1/2", and 5 5/8" marks.
12) Fold the strips along all score lines.
13) Use the Paper Snips to cut notches into the flaps along the bottom as shown.

14) Place a small strip of Sticky Strip on the bottoms of the flaps and along one end of each strip.
15) Carefully adhere the strip that was scored at the 1 1/2", 3 1/2", and 5 1/2" marks to one of the hearts forming a triangle shape as shown. Use the Sticky Strip on the end of the strip to hold the two ends together.

16) Remove the protective backing from the end of the strip that was scored at the 1 3/8", 3 1/2", and 5 5/8" marks, but do NOT remove the protective backing from the bottom flaps yet.
17) Carefully fold the strip around the triangle formed on the first heart and adhere the ends together so that the bottom flaps are facing up. The triangle you just formed should be a tiny bit bigger than the first triangle so that the lid will slide on and off the box easily.

18) Now remove the protective backing from the flaps and adhere the second heart to them.
19) Put a strip of Sticky Strip all along the center of the triangle on the lid of the box and adhere a piece of Calypso Coral 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon to it.
20) Cut a piece of Calypso Coral Card Stock to 2 1/2" square.
21) Place the square of Calypso Coral inside the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits Die.
22) Build a a sandwich of Multipurpose Platform with Tab 2 open, one Standard Cutting Pad, Embosslits Die with card stock inside as outlined in step 21, and the other Standard Cutting Pad. Run through the Big Shot.
23) Adhere the scalloped heart to the lid of the box with the raised embossing facing down.
24) Cut a piece of paper with the vanilla dots on the Calypso Coral background from the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper to 2 1/4" square.
25) Build a a sandwich of Multipurpose Platform with all tabs closed, one Standard Cutting Pad, the square of designer paper with the Calypso Coral pattern facing up, the second smallest Hearts Collection Framelits Die with the cutting edge facing down, and the other Standard Cutting Pad. Run through the Big Shot.
26) Adhere the designer paper heart to the center of the scalloped heart.
27) Ink up two of the hearts on the Candy Conversations stamp using the Poppy Parade and Peach Parfait Markers. Breathe on the stamp to remoisten the ink and stamp the images onto a scrap of Very Vanilla Card Stock.
28) Use the Small Heart Punch to punch out the heart images.
29) Adhere the punched out hearts to the designer paper heart at slight angles so they overlap each other just a bit.
30) Tie a small bow in a piece of Calypso Coral 1/8" Organdy Ribbon from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack and trim ends.
31) Adhere the bow to the top of the designer paper heart using a Mini Glue Dot.
32) Fill the heart box with candy and give away!
Tips
If you are going to be making lots of these heart boxes, use the Simply Scored Place Markers to mark the score lines you need to use so you don't have to keep remembering.
Use a Bone Folder (page 207, $6.95) when folding on your score lines to get nice, sharp creases.
You could easily make a heart box up to about 5 1/4" across using the Hearts Collections Framelits. Just adjust the size of the strips you use to make the triangle box center.
Remember, you can earn the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper and/or the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack for FREE during Sale-A-Bration by placing a qualifying order or hosting a Workshop!
