This is one of the cards we made at my September Club Classes featuring heat embossing. It uses a fun technique where you mix two (or more) colors of embossing powder together. I mixed together Cherry Cobbler and Wild Wasabi Stampin' Emboss Powders for this card. I think the result looks a lot like verdigris. Enjoy!
Uses Tags til Christmas Set and Four the Holidays Set plus Wild Wasabi Card Stock, Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon, Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads, Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Emboss Powder, Wild Wasabi Stampin' Emboss Powder, Powder Pals, Heat Tool, VersaMark Pad, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Paper-Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, Craft Scissors, Ornament Punch, Scallop Edge Border Punch, and empty Stampin' Emboss Powder container in which to mix the two powders together.
I used more Wild Wasabi than Cherry Cobbler in my mix so the result was more green than red. You only need to mix a small amount of each color together as a little embossing powder goes a long way!
Hi Michele,
I Love it! Thanks for a great tip on mixing embossing powders. I think I'll have to see what mixes I can come up with. :0)
Most of all I'm so glad your feeling better!
Take care and have a great week,
Shirley
