My oldest niece is a sophomore at William & Mary College this year. She will soon be leaving for Peru for a study-abroad summer program. She'll get to visit Machu Picchu as part of the program and practice her Spanish. I made this card to wish her a fun, safe trip. Enjoy!

Directions
1) Cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock to 4 x 5 1/4".
2) Cut a piece of Love Impressions Specialty Designer Series Paper with the red and white squares pattern to 2 3/4 x 3 3/4".
3) Adhere the designer paper to the left side of the white rectangle.
4) Cut a piece of Real Red Card Stock to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2". Score and fold in half to make a card.
5) Adhere the white rectangle to the card front.
6) Cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock to 3 x 3 1/2".
7) Stamp sentiment in Basic Gray Ink in lower right corner.
8) Clean stamp.
9) Ink up sentiment with Real Red Ink and stamp onto a scrap of white card stock so you have a complete arrow. Set aside to let dry.
10) Cut a gray cloud outline out of the sheet of Rub-Ons. Remove the protective backing piece and place the rub-on sticky side down on the stamped white rectangle so it is centered above the sentiment.
11) Use the craft stick included with the Rub-Ons to firmly rub all over the plastic on top of the rub-on making it stick to the card stock. Carefully peel off the plastic. If some of the rub-on is not sticking to the card stock, lay the plastic back down and rub again.
12) Cut a hot air balloon out of the sheet of Rub-Ons. Remove the protective backing piece and place the rub-on sticky side down on the stamped white rectangle so it is over the left side of the sentiment at an angle and slightly overlaps the cloud image.
13) Use the craft stick to firmly rub all over the plastic on top of the rub-on. Carefully peel off the plastic. If some of the rub-on is not sticking to the card stock, lay the plastic back down and rub again.
14) Use the 3/16" Corner Punch to round off the two corners on the right side of the panel.
15) Cut a piece of Real Red Card Stock to 3 1/8 x 3 5/8".
16) Use the 3/16" Corner Punch to round off the two corners on the right side.
17) Adhere the white rectangle to the red rectangle.
18) Cut a small piece of Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon and double it over.
19) Adhere the ribbon loop to the back side of the matted image so it sticks out on the upper right side about 1/2".
20) Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the matted image to the card front.
21) Carefully cut out the red arrow and adhere it over the gray arrow on the matted image using a small strip of Stampin' Dimensionals from the side of one of the sheets of Dimensionals.
Tips
Real Red Ink takes a bit longer to dry when stamped onto Whisper White or Very Vanilla Card Stock than many other inks for some reason. To avoid smearing, it is best to stamp images in Real Red Ink and set them aside for a few minutes to let them dry while you work on something else.
The Love Impressions Specialty Designer Series Paper and Love Impressions Rub-Ons are only available until April 30! Contact me if you'd like to order some before they disappear!
