Wow what a blessing to come out of a possible tragedy. And what a lovely tale to share. So much of what you shared gladened my heart and brought out the tears. I love your description of your Dad and his view of strangers. Here's a few more prayers and good thoughts for continuing improvement and support for all the family.

Hugs and blessings and thanks so much for sharing. - Jean

Wow, that was a scare. glad your dad is pulling through nicely though and that you were able to return home. Will keep him in my thoughts and prayers. Hope he has a good cardiologist to see him next.

God bless! I am so happy things worked out for the best. Keeping you and your family in prayers.

Michelle, I'm so glad your Dad is doing better and your Mom has the help she needs right now. Rest up and take care of yourself. your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so glad your Dad is doing so well. I know all too well about heart emergencies with my husband. I will keep you , your Dad & family in my prayers that he will be home from the hosp. soon. Beth

Michele, what a story! Oh my goodness! I thought it was SOP to check hearts on older folks before any kind of surgery -- my dad's cancer surgery was delayed due to it -- too bad they didn't do that with your dad! But I'm so happy to hear about his recovery and the goodness of people -- I LOVE good news and today I need it! Welcome home!

Many prayers going out your way, keep your head up and know that you are not alone. Glad he is better....

Sorry to hear about your Dad, but glad he's doing better now. Take care and rest up. Edna
