1) Cut a piece of Pacific Point Card Stock to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2". Score and fold in half to make card.
2) Cut a piece of Bashful Blue Card Stock to 4 x 5 1/4".
3) Ink up just the word "happy" on the sentiment with the Real Red Marker and stamp in the lower right corner of the Bashful Blue rectangle about 5/8" up from the bottom.
4) Clean the stamp.
5) Ink up just the word "birthday" on the sentiment with the Pacific Point Marker and stamp it just below and to the right of the first word.
6) Cut a piece of multi-colored numbers paper from the Celebrations Designer Paper to 2 x 5 1/4."
7) Adhere the designer paper to the left side of the Bashful Blue rectangle.
8) Cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock to 2 1/2 x 3 5/8".
9) Corner round the top two corners with the punch.
10) Ink up the balloon image with Bashful Blue Ink and stamp it in the center of the white rectangle near the top.
11) Ink up the image again with Bashful Blue Ink and stamp on a scrap of white card stock.
12) Clean the stamp.
13) Ink up the balloon image with Real Red Ink and stamp it below the first balloon on the left side so the image just barely goes off the side.
14) Ink up the image again with Real Red Ink and stamp on a scrap of white card stock.
15) Clean the stamp.
16) Ink up the balloon image with Pacific Point Ink and stamp it below the first balloon on the right side so the image goes off the side.
17) Ink up the image again with Pacific Point Ink and stamp on a scrap of white card stock.
18) Draw strings from the bases of the balloons down to the bottom of the white rectangle using the Basic Black Marker.
19) Cut a piece of Real Red Card Stock to 2 5/8 x 3 3/4".
20) Corner round the top two corners with the punch.
21) Adhere the white rectangle to the red rectangle. The bottom of both rectangles will be even.
22) Adhere the matted rectangles to the card front so they overlap the designer paper about 1" on the right side.
23) Adhere a piece of Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon to the Bashful Blue rectangle so it covers the bottom of the matted rectangles.
24) Adhere the Bashful Blue rectangle to the card front.
25) Cut a small piece of Pear Pizzazz Ribbon and lay it across the first piece of ribbon on a diagonal.
26) Cut a small piece of Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and use it to tie the two pieces of Pear Pizzazz Ribbon together.
27) Trim the ends of the Pear Pizzazz Ribbon piece and the Real Red Ribbon.
28) Cut out the rounded parts of the balloons stamped on the scrap card stock.
29) Adhere the balloon cut outs over the same color of balloon using Stampin' Dimensionals.
You can use a Stamp-a-ma-jig (page 198, $11.95) to help you stamp the words straight and lined up exactly where you want them. Or, just eye-ball it like I do. Clear-Mount Stamps are great for eye-balling because you can more easily see where you are stamping.
Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist are the best way to clean your stamps. Stampin' Mist contains conditioners to keep the rubber from getting dry and brittle.
Our Craft & Paper Scissors (page 199, $29.95) are the best for trimming ribbon!
