I used the oh-so-cute Hostess Level 2 Set, Cute by the Inch, on all these cards which also feature the Brights color collection.  This versatile set, which is available in Clear-Mount and Wood-Mount options and in Spanish and French versions too, will give you many different looks.  This set was designed to coordinate perfectly with our new Petal Card Extra-Large Double Punch.  Even if you are like me and don't have this punch yet, you can still create some wonderful cards.  Enjoy!

I colored the grooves in the embosslits die with markers before using it to cut and emboss the white card stock to get the lightly colored lines.

I cut the bound edge off of one side of the ribbon using the Craft & Paper Scissors and tied that through the button holes.

I cut out several flower bursts with the die and Big Shot.  Then, I put them on the Multipurpose Platform and put the strip of Bashful Blue Card Stock on top.  I layered on the Silicone Rubber and Impressions Pad and a Standard Cutting Pad and ran it through the Big Shot to lightly emboss the Bashful Blue strip.  This also flattened the flower bursts out so they were easier to adhere directly to the Pacific Point card for the "faux dry embossed" look.  I colored the Very Vanilla 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon with the brush tip of the Pear Pizzazz Marker and let it dry before adhering it to my card.
