Directions
1) Cut a piece of YoYo Yellow Card Stock to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2". Score and fold in half to make care.
2) Cut a piece of Basic Black Card Stock to 4 x 5 1/4".
3) Cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock to 4 x 5".
4) Ink up the citrus slice stamp from the Tart & Tangy Set using YoYo Yellow Ink. Stamp the image on the left side of the white rectangle as close to the bottom edge as you can. Let the left edge of the image go off the card stock a bit.
5) Reink the stamp and stamp it again as close to the bottom edge of the white rectangle as you can. Let the left edge of the image overlap the right edge of the first image a little bit.
6) Repeat step 5 across the bottom of the white rectangle. Remember to reink the stamp each time.
7) Using scissors, trim the bottom of the white rectangle off by following the stamped bottom edges of the citrus slices.
8) If needed, trim the top of the white rectangle by cutting a straight line so that the finished piece is about 3 3/4" wide.
9) Repeatedly stamp the citrus slice image all over the top of the white rectangle in YoYo Yellow Ink. Let the slices overlap a bit. Stamp some without reinking the stamp first.
10) Cut a strip of YoYo Yellow Card Stock to 1 x 5".
11) Cut a strip of Basic Black Card Stock to 1 1/4 x 5".
12) Adhere the yellow strip to the black strip and then to the white rectangle so it just covers the tops of the bottom row of citrus slices.
13) Ink up the "happy" sentiment from the Happy Everything Set with Basic Black Ink and stamp it just above the card stock strips on the right side of the rectangle.
14) Ink up the sentiment of your choice from the Happy Everything Set with Basic Black Ink and stamp it just below the card stock strips on the right side of the rectangle.
15) Adhere the stamped, cut out white rectangle to the black rectangle.
16) Adhere a piece of Black Gingham Ribbon to the center of the card stock strips. Tie a small piece of gingham ribbon to the first ribbon so it is centered under the word "happy" and trim ends.
17) Adhere the rectangles to the front of the YoYo Yellow card.
18) Stamp the citrus slice image in YoYo Yellow Ink onto a scrap of Whisper White Card Stock.
19) Punch out the citrus slice with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch.
20) Punch a scrap of YoYo Yellow Card Stock with the Scallop Circle Punch.
21) Use the 1/16" Circle Handheld Punch to punch a small hole in the center of each scallop of the scallop circle.
22) Adhere the citrus slice image to the center of the scallop circle.
23) Adhere the circles to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Tips
You can easily change the colors of this card by changing the ink and card stock used to match what you have on hand or the favorite drink of the person receiving the card. If you don't have YoYo Yellow, you can still make lemonade using Summer Sun, Crushed Curry, So Saffron, Barely Banana, or Daffodil Delight. For limeade, try using Green Galore, Gable Green, Certainly Celery, Pear Pizzazz, or Wild Wasabi. For orangeade, try using Only Orange, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, or Peach Parfait. For pink lemonade, you could use Pink Passion, Pixie Pink, Cameo Coral, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride, or Pink Pirouette.
