I've got a little fake tree that I use to display the ornaments I make each year. I've been busy the last few days creating all kinds of fun ornaments to put on the tree to share with you during the Blog Tour. Some of them are ideas you may have seen before and some are "Michele originals." A few of these ornaments could also be used as gift tags by simply writing "to" and "from" information on the back. I hope you will enjoy them!
Snowflake Lattice Ornament. Uses Real Red Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Standard Cutting Pads, Lattice Bigz Die, Jumbo Snowflake Punch, Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads, Paper-Piercing Tool (for prying jewel out of brad), Silver Elastic Cord, 2-Way Glue Pen, and Mini Glue Dots.
Stained Glass Lattice Ornament. Uses Old Olive Card Stock, Real Red Card Stock, White Vellum Card Stock, Real Red Stampin' Write Marker, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Lattice Bigz Die, Merry Details Sizzlits Die, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Sleigh Bells Ribbon, Gold Elastic Cord, 1/16" Circle Handheld Punch, 2-Way Glue Pen, and Mini Glue Dots. The vellum was colored with the marker and sandwiched between two lattice cut outs. When held up to a light source, this ornament looks like a piece of stained glass.
Stained Glass Pendant Ornament. Uses Pendant Notes, White Vellum Card Stock, Real Red Stampin' Write Marker, Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker, Crop-A-Dile, Metallic Eyelets, Gold Elastic Cord, Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads, Paper-Piercing Tool (for prying jewel out of brad), and Mini Glue Dots. The vellum was colored with the markers and then sandwiched between two Pendant Notes that were cut down to size. When held up to a light source, this ornament looks like a piece of stained glass.
Snowflake Chipboard Ornament. Uses On Board Lots of Letters, Real Red Craft Ink Pad, Real Red Stampin' Write Marker (for coloring edges of chipboard), Heat Tool (to speed up drying of Craft Ink), Crop-A-Dile, Metallic Eyelets, Silver Elastic Cord, Jumbo Snowflake Punch, Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter, Powder Pals, Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads, Paper-Piercing Tool (for prying jewel out of brad), 2-Way Glue Pen, and Mini Glue Dots.
Scarf Bear Ornament. Uses Ribbon of Hope single-image stamp (stamped on reverse side of Designer Paper and then cut out and trimmed down to make scarf), Close to Cocoa Classic Ink Pad (used to stamp Ribbon of Hope image on reverse of Designer Paper), Real Red Card Stock, Close to Cocoa Card Stock, Chocolate Chip Card Stock, Merry Moments Designer Series Paper, Crop-A-Dile, Metallic Eyelets, Gold Elastic Cord, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Ovals Originals Die, and Lil' Paws Embosslit Die.
Poinsettia Ornament. Uses Real Red Card Stock, Old Olive Card Stock, White Vellum Card Stock, Small Tag Punch, Tag Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 1/16" Circle Handheld Punch, Silver Elastic Cord, Chunky Essentials Stampin' Glitter, Powder Pals, and 2-Way Glue Pen.
Filigree Brad Ornament. Uses Filigree Designer Brads, Silver Elastic Cord, and Mistletoe Ribbon Originals.
Victorian Ornament. Uses Real Red Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper, Scallop Edge Punch, Crimper, Sticky Strip, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Standard Cutting Pads, Ovals Originals Die, Real Red Holiday Mix Decor Elements, Decor Elements Applicator, Paper-Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads, Silver Elastic Cord, and Stampin' Dimensionals.
Shaker Ornament. Uses Season of Joy, Real Red Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Brushed Silver Card Stock, Real Red Classic Ink Pad, Circle Scissor Plus, Glass Mat, Dotto, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Round Tab Punch, Crop-A-Dile, Metallic Eyelets, Silver Elastic Cord, Sweet Treat Cups, Sticky Strip, Red Bead Duo, and Powder Pals.
Double Ball Ornament. Uses Pretties Kit, Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper, Silver Elastic Cord, and Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon.
Ribbon Candy Ornament. Uses Pretties Kit, Real Red 3/4" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, and Silver Elastic Cord. Each of my Stampin' Club members who came to our monthly class the other day received one of these ornaments as an extra goody.
Ribbon Scraps Ornament. Uses Silver Elastic Cord, scraps of ribbon, and glass ball ornament. This is a great way to use up scraps of ribbon.
Crimped Paper Scraps Ornament. Uses Silver Elastic Cord, scraps of Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper, Crimper, and glass ball ornament. A great way to use up little scraps of paper and card stock.
Glitter Ball Ornament. Uses Chit Chat Rub-Ons, Old Olive Classic Ink Refill, Chunky Essentials Stampin' Glitter, Silver Elastic Cord, Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, and glass ball ornament.
Ornament in an Ornament. Uses Delightful Decorations, Medium Window Sheets, Real Red Craft Ink Pad, Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder, Powder Pals, Heat Tool, Ornament Punch, Silver Elastic Cord, 1/16" Circle Handheld Punch, Mini Glue Dots, Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, and glass ball ornament.
Christmas Rose Ornament. Uses Bride Specialty Paper, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Extended Cutting Pads, Table Setting Bigz XL Die, Silver Elastic Cord (threaded through two small holes poked in the base and used to tie the rose to the tree), Paper-Piercing Tool (for poking holes in the base), Mat Pack, Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads, and Pop-Up Glue Dots.
Christmas Pine Cone Ornament. Uses Bride Specialty Paper, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Extended Cutting Pads, Table Setting Bigz XL Die, Pretties Kit, Silver Elastic Cord, Paper-Piercing Tool (used to poke hole to thread cord through), Mat Pat, and Mistletoe Ribbon Originals.
Angel Topper. Uses Bride Specialty Paper, Whisper White Card Stock, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, Stampin' Pastels, Pop-Up Glue Dots, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Extended Cutting Pads, and Pennant Bigz XL Die.
