Today's card features a cool technique called "Reinker Spread" or "Ink Refill Spread." It's really easy to do and creates some very cool effects. It does take a little time to let the image dry though.

Directions
1) Cut a piece of Confetti White Card Stock to 2 1/2 x 2 3/4".
2) Stamp large leaf on written background image from Lexicon of Leaves Set in VersaMark Ink onto the white rectangle.
3) Sprinkle on Gold Embossing Powder. Tap off excess.
4) Heat image with Heat Tool until powder is completely melted.
5) Put a drop or two of each Ink Refill in the plastic lid. Leave room between the drops so they don't run together.
6) Spray water onto the card stock until puddles of water form between the embossed lines.
7) Touch the wet tip of an Aqua Painter to the lightest color ink drop. Some color will be sucked up onto the tip of the brush.
8) Touch the inked up brush tip to one of the puddles of water on your image and watch the color spread.
9) Repeat steps 7 and 8 in various areas around the image.
10) Clean the Aqua Painter tip by brushing it across a clean piece of scrap paper until no color comes off.
11) Repeat steps 7 through 10 with the next color of ink.
12) Repeat steps 7 through 10 with the final color of ink.
13) Set your image aside to dry thoroughly.
14) Meanwhile, cut a piece of Soft Suede Card Stock to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2". Score and fold in half to make card.
15) Randomly stamp the two single leaf images in Soft Suede Ink all over the card front. Let the images overlap a little and don't reink each time.
16) Cut a piece of Crushed Curry Card Stock to 2 x 4".
17) Use the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to poke two evenly spaced holes in the upper left corner of the Crushed Curry strip.
18) Insert Antique Brass Brads from the Vintage Brads in the holes and secure on the back side.
19) Adhere the Crushed Curry strip to the left side of the card front.
20) Cut a piece of Dusty Durango Card Stock to 2 3/4 x 3."
21) If your leaf image is dry, adhere it to the Dusty Durango rectangle.
22) Cut a strip of Crushed Curry Card Stock to 1" x 3".
23) Stamp the sentiment in the center of the strip using Soft Suede Ink.
24) Tear the ends of the strip off.
25) Adhere the stamped, torn strip to the bottom right corner of the mounted leaf image.
26) Clip an Antique Brass Mini Library Clip to the right edge of the leaf image where it joins the sentiment strip.
27) Put Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the leaf image and sentiment strip and adhere to the card front.
28) Tie a small piece of Dusty Durango Polka-Dot Ribbon into a simple overhand knot and trim ends.
29) Adhere the ribbon knot to the top of the Mini Library Clip using a Mini Glue Dot.
Tips
You must use a heavier card stock like Confetti White or Confetti Cream when doing this technique. The lighter card stocks (Whisper White and Very Vanilla) don't work as well when you get them so wet.
Use plenty of water when spraying your image. You want it to be really wet and have the water puddle up.
You can use the tip of the Aqua Painter to move the ink around a little bit in the puddles or just let it flow naturally.
Try using any line-art image with this technique. Flowers work particularly well!
Any color of Embossing Powder will work. If you want the lines to fade into the background a bit, try using Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder.
