I posted the other day about the 30 Hour Famine that my younger son was helping to organize as a service project. I'm pleased to report that his group did a fantastic job! They fasted for 30 hours, raised $1,915.04 to donate to World Vision, made 7 blankets to donate to Project Linus, and made 87 cards to donate to Operation Write Home. I made today's card to send him to let him know how proud we are of him!

Directions
1) Cut a piece of Basic Black Card Stock to 2 x 3".
2) Punch both long sides with the Pinking Hearts Border Punch.
3) Cut the piece in half lengthwise down the middle between the two punched sides.
4) Cut a piece of Red Glimmer Paper to 2 5/8" x 3".
5) Adhere the two strips of punched black card stock behind the Glimmer Paper so just the points stick out.
6) Cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie Card Stock to 4 x 5 1/4".
7) Adhere the Glimmer Paper/card stock piece to the left side of the Pumpkin Pie rectangle in the center.
8) Adhere a piece of Basic Black Satin Ribbon to the center of the Glimmer Paper.
9) Adhere a piece of Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon to the center of the satin ribbon.
10) Cut a piece of Real Red Card Stock to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2". Score and fold in half to make a card.
11) Adhere the Pumpkin Pie rectangle to the card front.
12) Ink up the image from the Take a Spin Set with Basic Black Ink and stamp it onto a scrap of Pumpkin Pie Card Stock.
13) Use the 2-1/2" Circle Punch to punch out the image.
14) Cut a piece of Basic Black Card Stock to 3 1/2" square.
15) Build a sandwich of one Standard Cutting Pad, 3" Circle Originals Die, piece of black card stock, and remaining Standard Cutting Pad. Run through the Big Shot.
16) Adhere the stamped image to the center of the black circle.
17) Place a washer and a game spinner hand in the center of the image. Use the Paper-Piercing Tool and Mat Pack pieces to poke a hole in the card stock.
18) Insert a Real Red Glimmer Brad and secure on the back side by bending the prongs flat.
19) Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the circles to the card front so they cover the right side of the Glimmer Paper piece.
20) Use the Star Punch to punch a star from a scrap of Glimmer Paper.
21) Use the Paper-Piercing Tool and Mat Pack pieces to poke a hole in the center of the star.
22) Insert a Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Brad and secure on the back side by bending the prongs flat.
23) Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the star to the upper right corner of the card.
Tips
If you don't have a 2-1/2" Circle Punch or 3" Circle Originals Die and Big Shot, you can cut the circles out using the Circle Scissor Plus ($29.95) and Glass Mat ($19.95) both on page 199.
Don't press the prongs of the brad holding the game spinner hand down too tightly or your spinner won't spin! In fact, if you put the blades of scissors between the card stock and the prongs while bending them flat, you'll leave enough room for your spinner to spin easily.
Use the edge pieces from a sheet of Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere narrow or small items. Just cut the edges into smaller pieces using your scissors.
