Best Of ... 25 Years Sets

Stampin' Up! is celebrating 25 years of business and making a difference this year.  So, for our 25-year anniversary, we are bringing back some of our favorite stamp images from the past.

Each month, we'll release one "Best Of" set focusing on a particular theme.  Each set will be available in Clear-Mount only and will contain three to five images including one new, never-before-seen image that fits the theme.  Each "Best Of" set will cost $14.95.  While we are only releasing one new set a month, all the sets will be available for purchase until March 31, 2014.

Dolled Up Birthday Kit

The second of the Viewer's Choice/Submit a Project Kits is here!  This kit was voted the winning kit via Stampin' Up!'s Facebook page and was designed by Chris Gilmore of Ohio.

It is the Dolled Up Birthday Kit, item # 133913.  This kit is only available while supplies last.  For just $15.95, you get everything you need (except adhesive, scissors, and a Clear-Mount Block) to create six gorgeous birthday cards with envelopes.  Here's what is included in the Kit and how the finished note cards and envelopes can look:

• Dolled-Up Birthday Photopolymer Stamp (1)
• 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Crumb Cake Cardstock (6 pieces)
• 2" x 4-1/4" Very Vanilla Cardstock (6 pieces)
• Very Vanilla Medium Envelopes (6)

To assemble the cards:

1. Place the stamp on a Clear-Mount Block (I recommend Block D or Block H) rubber side up and ink with the Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Spot.
2. Stamp "Happy Birthday" at the bottom of the card fronts.
3. Ink the Sponge Dauber with Soft Suede ink and gently antique the doilies and the edges of the dress forms.
4. Adhere the pieces to the card fronts in this order:
   
   • Doily
   • Very Vanilla Cardstock
   • Dress form
   • Flower

I recommend SNAIL Adhesive (item # 104332, $6.95) as the best way to adhere the doilies, card stock, and dress forms to the card fronts.  I recommend Glue Dots (item # 103683, $4.95) as the best way to adhere the cut apart flowers to the card fronts.

Stampin' Up! is now offering a second downloadable class for everyone.  This class is called Seeing the Possibilities (item # 134532) and is available for purchase for $14.95.  Once purchased, an e-mail is sent to the e-mail address you provide with directions on how to download the class.

The class information is divided into .pdf documents with directions, supply lists, and pictures for 15 projects.  There are a few videos as well for some of the techniques taught.  You can follow the directions at your own pace whenever you want!
