Directions
1) Fold one of the printed, embossed, die-cut Baja Breeze cards from the Simply Sent Everyday Elegance kit in half.
2) Use the Paper-Piercing Tool and Mat Pack pieces to help punch the little pieces out of the die-cut edge of the card.
3) Wrap a piece of Garden Green 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon around the card and tie in knot. Use Craft Scissors to trim the ends.
4) Cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock to 2 1/2 x 3".
5) Ink up the outline image of the flower and stem from the Flower Fancy Set with Not Quite Navy Ink and stamp in the center of the white rectangle.
6) Place the imaging sheet for the Stamp-a-ma-jig into the corner of the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
7) Use the Markers to ink up the image from the Flower Fancy Set of the solid flower, leaves, and bud image that matches the outline image.
8) Stamp the image onto the imaging sheet by making sure the stamp fits into the corner of the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
9) Place the stamped imaging sheet over the outline image stamped on the white rectangle and move it around until the image is lined up inside the outline the way you want it. Carefully place the Stamp-a-ma-jig so the corner of the imaging sheet is lined up in it. Then, carefully remove the imaging sheet without shifting the position of the card stock or the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
10) Use the Markers to ink up the solid image stamp again.
11) Stamp the image onto the white rectangle by making sure the stamp fits into the corner of the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
12) Cut a piece of Not Quite Navy Card Stock to 2 5/8 x 3 1/8".
13) Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the Not Quite Navy rectangle.
14) Use the Markers to ink up the sentiment from the Friendly Phrases Set.
15) Stamp the sentiment to the right side of one of the self-adhesive Baja Breeze tags from the Simply Sent Everyday Elegance.
16) Ink up the outline image from the Flower Fancy Set with Not Quite Navy Ink again and stamp it on the left side of the tag so you get the bottom portion of the stem on the tag.
17) Adhere the stamped tag to the main stamped image so that the stems line up.
18) Use the Paper-Piercing Tool and Mat Pack pieces to poke holes in the center of the flower and on either end of the tag.
19) Insert a large light blue Circle Ice Rhinestone Brad in the center of the flower and small light blue Circle Ice Rhinestone Brads in the tag ends. Secure the brads by flattening out the prongs on the back side. You may need to bend the prongs of the one small brad a bit so they don't poke out the sides of the tag.
20) Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the image to the left side of the front of the card so the ribbon is centered under the tag with the knot on the right edge of the tag.
Tips
You could stamp the flower images without using the Stamp-a-ma-jig, but it really helps with getting the images lined up.
You might need to give the images inked up with the Markers the "breath of life" before you stamp with them. Just breathe on the stamps after inking and before stamping to re-moisten the ink for best results.
To avoid stamping on other tags from your Simply Sent kit, you might want to cut the tag you are going to use out of the sheet before stamping on it. Don't just peel it off the protective backing though or it will stick to your work surface.
Retiring stamp sets are available through May 31.
The Simply Sent Everyday Elegance kit, 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Rhinestone Brads, and Mat Pack are only available while supplies last or until May 31, whichever comes first.
